I booked my daughters 1st birthday party at Whimsy based on the reviews on Google & Yelp and them winning the best of the bay area in 2016. Take note that I have not been to Whimsy, ever! So booking my daughters party there was me taking the chance and trying my luck. And Claudia did not disappoint but in fact exceeded my expectations. Claudia had put my visions for the party to reality. She nailed it from the very small details and decoration. The food is great too. Thanks to her Cafe Manager for helping me with the menu. The play area is very enjoyable and a big hit with the kids. The toys are very appropriate for school age kids where they can do arts and crafts and some pretend play. Very educational toys! Very cozy & intimate ambiance for small parties with your closest family/friends. Perfect for parents/adults to enjoy the party while catching up or chit chatting with your family/friends without worrying about your kids wandering around the place. The place is in fact both kid & adult friendly as they have the chance to enjoy themselves and be with friends & family. No questions asked, I will give 5 star or 2 thumbs up to Claudia and her team. If you want to host a party and enjoy it too, book your party at Whimsy

Claudia far exceeded our expectations when we held our daughters 2nd birthday party here. LOVED the details and custom decoration, the fantastic play space, the attentive helpers, and all the other ways Whimsy went above and beyond to ensure our daughter had the best birthday party. It was truly stress-free for us, and we could actually mingle with our guests. The children (18 kids from 10 months - 5 years) had such an amazing time in the play structures that they were all super reluctant to leave (actually, nearly all threw a fit and wanted to playplayplayplayplay some more!!). One of the best experiences we have had hosting a party. Props to Claudia and her team - thank you so much! Cannot wait to return again!

Whimsy is an adorable, fun, and clean place to bring your kid(s) to play. It has almost everything: jungle gym, play kitchens, dress up corner, crafts, music, Legos, etc. The staff helps you keep an eye on your kids, and helps you clean up after them. A cafe is attached, if you want to leave your older kids (3+ Id say) in the play area while you have lunch or coffee. Ive even seen parents "working from home" as their kid plays. My only complaint is Whimsy is pricey for someone whose kid has a midday nap and cant stay for too long.

We love the clean, safe, and fun atmosphere at Whimsy! My kids have had a blast here from ages 1 to 5.5 and still going strong. On our visit today, we saw that they have a new foam pit to jump in, which was a huge win for my 2 boys. Having the little cafe inside is always a huge win for me. Thanks Whimsy!!

We have loved Whimsy ever since it opened! Its a great place for the kids...its safe, clean, and the people who work there are amazing. SO nice to the kids and really enjoy them...and the best part is getting to have a cup of coffee while the kids play! If you have young kids, go check it out!!!

EXTREMELY clean and well maintained. Staff is caring and friendly (both to my children and myself). A great place to go, chat with friends, and grab a bite of food from the cafe or some coffee while the kids play in the supervised play area.

We love Whimsy! Its a great place to take your children to. Lots of great activities to keep the kids entertained. The staff is friendly and very nice. There is a nice cafe to sit and eat. Great to Bday parties and indoor playdate.

Good place for a moderate sized kids party. Keep in mind that the will keep you on schedule and will hustle you out when the time comes. There is a great park a couple blocks away where folks can reform.

The playground at Whimsy is really creative and toddler friendly for a wide range of ages. The creative play stations (train tracks, kitchen etc) are very nice too. Great place for a birthday party!
