Atmosphere was that of old cafe blended with rustic wood of a saw mill. Fireplace was a cozy touch and I like the highlight on baked pies when you first walk in. It was pretty empty when we went in around 4 pm but the friendly host said the pace is packed in the mornings for breakfast, especially during weekends. Even though it was late, I had to try the ham spinach and cheese egg omelette with hashbrowns. Food was cooked okay overall but underwhelming on seasoning. I would have liked the ham to have a little cook or some sear but it tasted boiled and bland. The eggs were a bit runny in the center for my liking. I would also have appriciated the spinach to be cut finer versus the big leaves. Potatoes could have used a little more crunch and some seasoning. Overall not sold on the place and no aspirations to return.

Cute diner in the Mill Creek Town Center. (6-7 other locations around too) I like to sit at the counter to avoid the unfailingly long wait at weekend brunch time. Plenty of parking in this lot so thats good. Food is fresh with many of the pastries made on site, they even make their own whipped cream. Portions are generous so plan to share or take a doggy bag if you have a light appetite. Sandwiches and burgers round out the menu at this traditional, comfort food go-to. Would be 5 stars however the gal behind the counter is super sweet and continually in the weeds. Ive noticed that Im not the only one that has order mix ups, waits for checks, etc. not a big deal but everything else is so great, it stands out.

Went here for breakfast this morning, I never complain but this time I feel like I have to, I arrived at 11 and am just leaving now at 1. Wait time for a table was 40 minutes but we were quoted 20 upon arrival. We ordered a chicken fried steak (split) and a kids french toast immediately when we were seated. The food did not reach our table until 12:40 took us 10 minutes to eat and then finally pay. People seated way after us were eating and gone while we waited. We complained and the explanation we received was that the chicken fried steak is frozen and takes a very long time to cook thoroughly. I was a server aND a cook at a breakfast place that is just not true. Not coming back here.

This is slice of Americana. The cafe is decked out in lumberjack and timber industry decor, which matches the historic spirit of Northwest industry. The cafe offers good old dinner for with some casual restaurant did mixed in. Their breakfasts served all day and their wonderful burgers and sandwiches keep bringing me back. I personally recommend the Ruben sandwich or mushroom Swiss burger. Yum.

Its a busy place, but that is because they have good dinner type food and people want to hang out. Their staff is friendly, sometimes a little too personal for my own taste, but to each their own. The food is always good, I like their bacon-potato pancakes and their regular pancakes. When I suffered morning sickness I would get their milkshakes as it was something I could keep down.

Good food, bad service! It was great food, not salty and delicious. My wife said she never found that kind perfect food in Washington state. We enjoyed. However, service was not satisfied because server didnt show up when I call several times even not busy hours. I found many servers in the Saturday morning, but nobody keep attention to us during we were waiting for order.

So normally this place is super cool and the wait time is long, which is understandable. But if you have a party of 6 or more they literally wont get you a table. Even on a slow day like today where half the place is empty we had to wait more than 20 minutes. They wouldnt even let us look at the menu and order our food while we waited for our table.

Customer service was not good. We were a party of nine and they were supposed to sit is together and they told us after 20 minutes that they " accidentally" gave our table to another party. Also they got one of our orders wrong. They forgot to bring one of us coffee! The food was not good as well. It was not fresh. My scrambled eggs was cold!

It was ok but not outstanding. Expensive for what they are offering and the wine is vastly overchilled, which means they dont know what they are doing regarding wine. If you are going to offer wine then learn how to look after it so you dont end up serving vinegar. With so many other choices around, we wont be back here any time soon.

The waitresses are so great and actually get to know you after youve been there a few times. I almost always order an omelette which have always been delicious. My husband orders burgers or salads which he always has to take half home because they are so huge, but are always delicious! This is one of our favorite places to go.

Staff is friendly, food is great, and they take care of you in a timely manner. I also like their interior wood trim and columns (maybe because Im a carpenter). Maybe they need a bigger "Sawmill" sign, but this place is crowded. Very happy with the food and service. Will come here again.

Friendly service, big portions (with the option to order a half portion for most things), delicious hand made shakes, and a cozy family-friendly atmosphere. My family and I LOVE this place, and my husband takes me here for date nights sometimes because I love the vintage atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, amazing service, extensive menu, everything super tasty, totally affordable. There was a bit of a crowd waiting when we showed up on a Sunday morning, but everyone was seated very quickly and we werent waiting very long at all. What more could I ask for?

I really like the food here; the quality is comparable with the price of the meal. The serving staff is generally on top of things and nice. The only complaint to make is that there is almost always a minimum 20m wait, usually much longer in the mornings.

Very hit and miss. Their breakfast is wimpy and bland (biscuits and gravy were dry). I have been disappointed with all of their sandwiches (basic bread, meat and lettuce). However, their pie, and turkey and meatloaf dinners are worth coming back for.

Excellent diner food, super friendly service. Some times during the day can be amazingly busy (Ive seen up to 25 min. table wait times). A bit pricey, but the portion size and food quality is on par with the price. Do not pass on their pie either...

Food is just not cooked with much effort and most items are cooked just enough to be safe to eat; soft sausage insead of crispy or browned, completely limp toast, sub-par seasoning. Tastes like retirement home food or a buffet. Not worth it.

This place definitely lives up to the hype. I went on a Wednesday morning and it was PACKED. We had to wait maybe 15 minutes for a table, which isnt bad considering. The waiter (Angel) was super nice and attentive, and the food was awesome!

I love this place. It is a five star American diner. Great food and service. I have had most of the food on the menu at least once. If youre craving a an old style French Dip sandwich this is your spot. Wait staff is always great. $$
