They are amazing, every time I go in they are very friendly and warm. The food is outstanding and everyone I know, knows this is the go to place for Thai food in Marin County. The service never disappoints and they really do care for their customers. In fact I went there over a month and a half ago and accidentally left my receipt on the signature trey ( a receipt that I needed as it was a business related dinner). Then, Just yesterday my accountant asked for a copy of the receipt and it was at that time I realized that I didnt have it. I called them (right before they were scheduled to close) and they were more than happy to stay late and fax me a copy of a receipt from almost 2 months ago. Now that is what I call service and that is why I will continue to frequent their restaurant.

Enchanting Thai restaurant. We sat in the sun room surrounded by windows with twinkle lights hung outside, it was enchanting and a romantic setting. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My favorite was the Tom Ka Gai soup, very tangy and flavorful. The prawns and veggies with tempura batter were so light and crunchy. The brown rice was the deep reddish brown, and good. Masman curry with beef was good too, even though a couple pieces of the thin sliced beef was a little tough. The pineapple was a nice touch to the masman curry Ive never experienced before. Would highly recommend Royal Thai restaurant. I plan to go back when in the area. Parking was easily available in the lot next door, under the freeway.

Ordered takeout. Showed up and they ran the charge incorrectly on my card. Took 2 people and 20 minutes on the phone to figure out how to reverse the charge. They were very nice and gave me a bottle of thai beer for my trouble, but it is ridiculous that they didnt know how to run the machine. That being said the food was great, and had I not been in a rush I likely wouldnt have cared.

We had two entrees, sea bass and pork satay. Neither dish was served with anything else which made for an unbalanced meal. The sea bass was sweet enough to startle a sugar addict, the pork was tougher than it needed to be. It was Monday night so it could have just been an off night. The service was very good, friendly and attentive, but the food was disappointing.

Nice little Thai place in the French Quarter right under the 101 over pass. Been meaning to go there forever. Good food, reasonable prices, great service and kind of groovey atmosphere in an old house. Didnt give it five stars just because its not like a 5 star place but certainly nothing wrong with it and would go again if presented the opportunity.

Cooking for me is a passion and I have dined in Thailand, which gives context and perspective. The food is unbelievably amazing in Thailand. Royal Thai is about as good as I have experienced in SF, San Mateo and Marin Counties over a 10 year sample size. My rating is relative to Thai food consumed in North America and not to the home land.

The food is wonderful. The setting is beautiful. The service is good and pleasant. The prices are reasonable. I am definitely coming back. I loved the vegetarian satay! They do make it spicy.

Was not expecting to be so amazed by this little hole in the wall. Sticky rice was sweet and sticky, curry was the perfect consistency. I will be back luckly its only 20 away from home.

Great Thai place for vegetarian food. Green curry and veggie noodles are amazing. The restaurant is based in a heritage building house and entire thing is done really well.
