This place is way over priced and the service was of disregard! There was literally more waitresses then patrons and I still didnt get attended to once during my meal or asked if I wanted a refill. $17+ dollars for some corn beef hash and a coke. The bill was not line idem so I asked and the waitress said they had a tax increase. Tax increase? What does this mean--are you your own Government?! All cash restaurant-do you even pay taxes? San Marino Grill-NEVER AGAIN!!! ZERO STARS!

Family owned old school American diner, kind of a rare find in the San Gabriel Valley. Good food, good service and ok prices get a B, mediocre coffee and Sunny Delight-type OJ get a D-. I expected more from a 50+ years old "institution" in upscale San Marino. I will give them another try though, hopefully the beverages are better next time. so; B + D- = 3 stars only (cant give them 2-1/2)
