The star of the show ... the brisket was cooked perfectly ... a very high quality meat (e.g., prime level) ... medium rare. It came out very juicy - which I find very rare for any kitchen to produce consistently. Most will keep serving their brisket until its gone ... long after the juices have left. Both styles of ribs were delicious with a nice smokey bark. The beef rib was tasty. In Southern California, this place is a 5 ... and a contender nationally as well. The last place I had brisket this good was Dallas at the famous Pecan Lodge. The tri tip was over done in my opinion, but still very tender & flavorful. Still worth ordering in my opinion. .. my wife loves well done and she loved it. The leftovers were a reminder of how good it was. The brisket? Sorry, no leftovers. The delicious bbq sauce was served hot - an indicator to me that this place strives for perfection. For a little more heat, just add a little of their house hot sauce. The cornbread starter is a nice touch... brought to our table early. If they added a few more ingredients, it too could be its own star - something to add moistness, corn & maybe a hint of jalepeno or milder pepper for the masses. The bashed potatoes were exceptionally delicious - Ill order more next visit. The corn was good too. They have a full bar inside, but the little patio outside was nice .. the waitress put the heaters on for us. Another bright star here is the service ... always smiling and attentive & serving drinks before we are even thinking about it. 3 waters were placed on our table with lemons. While our waitress was exceptional, I felt the same vibe from all the staff. Kudos to management for finding, training and having great staff. Its like they figured out how to get good tips and theyre hooked on good service. At least I hope most visitors tip appropriately. We need more of this in our lives. I cant see how anyone could be disappointed coming here. #9 on trip advisor - deserves to be higher on the list in my opinion. Please open one in Woodland Hills, CA.

Meh.....Bottom line, this place isnt bad but not great either. I was a little turned off when I walked up to the counter and there was no one there at 12:05 on a Monday. No big deal, but then someone came around from in the kitchen and made it pretty obvious that I was interrupting his day by wanting to place an order. All in all my brisket was fine. It had some smoke flavor but my impression is that it was cooked by someone who knows what smoke flavor is, and smoked it just enough to flavor it, then finished it in a regular oven. No big deal but that is not true barbecue. The beans were more of a chili, than beans. They were actually good, but not what Id expect a side of baked beans to be. They have a very extensive menu, and the focus seems to be their burgers. Which look very good, but I didnt come here looking for a burger. All in all not a bad place to eat. I think the food was good. Prices were reasonable, and portions were good sized. But I cant say I would go out of my way for their barbecue.

I am not a great fan of BBQ. This place is muy popular. I actually prefer the bar and certainly happy hour. The trio of tacos is very good. Their salads are very good and HUGE. The wine selection is okay but they are very good about letting you taste to see what prefer you before you settle on a glass. They really need to find out how Cedar Creek makes their Old Fashions, because even though the very busy but responsive bartender/waitress redid the tasteless one we first received, the second one just was darker and not really much tastier. The ones at Cedar Creek have a warm richness. BTW - the Old Fashion was not a happy hour drink, just to be clear. The Old Fashion was for my 92 year old Mom! I dont go here often, even though it is very close to home, but it is a very convivial local joint and they have a very good bar staff.

I originally came here off a referral from a friend. I was surprised to see it was in kind of a commercial area I suppose. When I went I had the ribs and they were very very good. Im a picky eater but I do like barbecue and if you get anything barbecue here its great. In addition to that they have a lot of other things on the menu which is posted where you come in so you can preview what you want. Its a nice casual atmosphere and I like that you can just order your food and sit down wherever you like. They have all different shapes and sizes tables they have booths and they have a separate bar area. This is one of the best places I have found in South County since moving here and I enjoy coming here as a treat good job guys!

Between the guns on the walls, the smell of smoke delicious BBQ wafting from the restaurant as you drive up, and the friendly service, this place reminds me of home. The food is absolutely delicious, and the baby back ribs fall right off the bone and into the excellent homemade BBQ sauce which you wont mind having in your beard for hours after you eat because it tasted so damn good. Not only that, the live music is also outstanding, and often from the finer years of country music. If you havent been to Bad to the Bone BBQ yet, you are wrong.

Excellent as always. Both the staff and food. I get the Jones if I dont eat there at least once a week. The only downside to tonights experience was that we did not get to sit outside the place was packed but still I received excellent customer service from the staff and as always was served an excellent meal in a very very responsible amount of time especially considering how busy they were. Lol not meaning laugh out loud but meaning lots of love bad to the bone see you agin soon.

Greatest BBQ Ive had and it was not too expensive. The BBQ pulled pork sliders as starters was amazing. We also got kajun chicken starter as a meal and the chicken was perfectly cooked with little to no fat on it. I got a smokehouse burger which is something i would not typically get and nothing has beat it since. You have to get the 1/2 pound version cooked medium rare to fully appreciate the flavor of it. We waddled out of there very satisfied.

This is the best BBQ place in Orange County. They actually smoke the meat for several hours. If you like that authentic flavor you will return over and over. Get in on their Points program. For every $100 you spend you get a $10 coupon. When you hit major milestones like 1500 and 2500 points you get a free steak. When I got the free $35 steak, they still added 35 more points to my account!
