NASTY .....NASTY......NASTY....NASTY I order the Chicken Katsu a huge mistake! The chicken was greasy, full of fat and inedible!The rice also had no flavor. I brought this nasty food back to them and asked for my money back. The two young guys who made the food was goofing around and laughing, had no sympathy for the trash they made. The cashiers, a young woman was embarrassed and ready to give me a refund. But then the owner got in our conversation, a rude old man who refused to give me back my money and said that the type of food given when its togo. This owner obviously believe no customer would ever have the guts to give him back his nasty food. He had no shame to admit the food was thrown together, even though I waited 20 minutes for this slop! I wasnt havnt this and called the police. The officer who came saw all the food was there and was disgusted. He couldnt believe that the owner wouldnt give back the money. Now, I will be filling a lawsuit against the business for my money back. Stay away unless, you want bad service, nasty food and a stomach ache.

Ordered Bbq mix plate, which according to menu includes Bbq chicken "or" katsu chicken. I thought I was getting katsu chicken, seems how I was not asked which choice I would like. When the food arrived I asked, and was told since I did not choose she just gave me Bbq chicken, and told me politely "sorry for the confusion." Good customer service would to give me what I thought I was ordering. It was my error in not reading the menu correctly, and knowing I had to chose between the two, but I felt if there is a choice it should be asked when ordering. The only reason I went to a Hawaii bbq place is because I love chicken katsu, unfortunately today I did not get to eat that. A little over priced for what you get, I like the L & L chain much better.

Coming from years of living in Hawaii, including many stops at one of the original L&L near UH (and back when Diners Drive-In ruled Oahu)...I must say in three visits to Ohana that they have the best Teri beef quality I have had in years. Many places still use much too fatty cuts of beef. Excellent pricing and selection keeps me coming back every time I visit LA. yes, I use the teri beef (BBQ beef) as my standard (if they do that well, the rest usually follows). now kalua pork is another story.

Went here on a lunch break sometime last week, will go back again. The pulled pork sandwich was great. I also had Mac and cheese, it was different but different is good. Be sure to grab lots of napkins! The decor in nice, i like the wood and the dim lighting. The staff was very friendly. See you soon Moana Barbeque.

Totally unexpected! I made my own platter of a steamed bun, kalua pork tacos, a spam pulled pork masuba and some of the Mac and cheese and it was great! A definite place to eat local and skip all the chain restaurants in Burbank. Ill definitely be back to Moana.

Great place! Great portions and fish was super fresh. Medium spice has a kick to it so beware of spicy level. Loved the crab salad and the flavored edamame. Best price and portion ever. I had yellow tail, albacore, and spicy tuna.

Interesting concept. I got the pork nachos. Good flavors. No attempt to have them be hot or even warm. But the pork was tasty and the people were nice. Place seems new so Im guessing they will get the details right soon.

Disgusting! I literally had to throw up what I ate and throw the rest to the trash. The macaroni salad is super soggy, the meat wasnt cook right and the presentation sucked. I wasted 14 dollars on gross food .

This place is one of the best. First came here with some comrades after a march and it was awesome. The Moana Barbeque cornbread is so delicious. The horseradish sauce pairs perfectly. And the are very nice.

Hands down my favorite restaurant. Its the perfect meal light, fresh and filling. I do half and half with brown rice and mild spice level. Ive tried other poke places but none compare to Moana Barbeque!!

I lived in Hawaii for a year, and I appreciate their commitment to stay authentic. Im not that into hawaiian food, but their food was actually pretty tasty. Although it tasted like it wasnt that fresh.

This place is really good. The bbq chicken is really well cooked. The mix plate is also amazing. The staff is always nice and its a good place to go for something healthy and relatively inexpensive.

Good option for Hawaiian food in the area. Just simpler plate lunch, rice and mac salad w katsu sort of thing. Like an L&L. I usually get a can of POG to go with my meal.

I used to get lunch here all the time. Their chicken is delicious and so is just about everything else, too. Love, love, love their macaroni salad.
