This place is 5 Star in my book even though I have never been here or eaten here. You know why? My friend Aries story in her words, "I took my nephew to red lobster after chemo and radiation today and our server said "this is on the house, we just want you both to keep coming back for his favorite clam chowder and keep us posted on his health" she even gave him extra biscuits to take home. On the way out the owner smiled and told us bye and to have a great day! My nephew and I walked out teary eyed. Its the small things you know. I told him "see baby when you grow up, these are the things you do for others.. Do you see how it feels to receive?" He said "yes so nice" I said "yes and when its your time to give, it feels even better" today was a great day!" We need more good people like that.. Props to Manager, Server!! Restores my faith in Humanity, compassion!

Best to go during the week because service is much faster. We found out if they forget to put your name on the list when you first check in, they end up adding you to the bottom. Seems like since its their mistake they could bump you up. Our original 5 minute estimate for a table ended up being 26 minuntes. Our waiter was really nice and friendly but kept forgetting to bring things back to the table like a drink refill. It took a long time to get our appetizer and food. We requested another set of rolls before our main dish was brought and didnt get them until we were finished with dinner. There are some things on the menu that taste fairly good but most things are just okay. For the price it doesnt seem like the taste adds up.

Was hesitant to come due to bad reviews, but my wife & daughter wanted seafood for dinner so decided to give it a try. 5 STARS! Our waitress Alex was one of the top reasons for our wonderful experience. She brought us fresh biscuits soon as we sat down, brought everything we asked for right away, as well as a friendly personality! Alex was a lovely young lady. My wife & I tipped her 30%. The place was crowded but we got our food in a short amount of time. Lobster was delicious but a bit pricey. Nice atmosphere & great wine selection. Will definitely come back again with hopes of the same experience.

We went there today for an early dinner. We sat at the bar since there was a wait. We order our meal. When the apps came I reached for the stack of side plates and found a roach crawling on the third plate. We call the bartender over and he took the plates and angled it so that the roach would fall on the floor. We immediately canceled our dinner order and left the restaurant. I will never eat at this Red Lobster again. Ill call their corporate hotline in the morning. This has to be a health department violation.

It was probably some of the best resturant seafood ive had and i had the best waitress. his name was suki i think.i tipped him five bux and my mom tipped him 20 and gave me some grenadine sauce. he even called me by my real name wich was "steve" wich is a very common name so im ok with giving it out.anyways suki was one of the best waiters i have ever met and i hope you guys get to have him as your waiter.

I love that Red Lobster is open till 11. We got there quite late at night, and as we had expected, there was very little crowd. The staff were friendly, attentive and caring, and we got our food relatively quickly. The ambience was soothing, though Id suggest a light jacket since it was quite cool inside. Food was pretty good, and the pricing was very reasonable too. Ill be going back for more.

We went here for lunch with 20 people for my sons birthday. They dont take reservations, but since we had such a large party and we called in advance they had everything set up for us. They took our orders and served the food efficiently, deftly handling the various children and adults in attendance. The food is good, though a little bit pricey. I guess that is reasonable given its seafood.

We waited 25 minutes to get seated, but it was crystal clear they had a lot of free tables, then we waited 10 minutes to order, then waited 45 minutes to get our pasta, salad and fried shrimps. We had no time to wait more. Its been 80 minutes since we came. We asked them to pack our food as we had to go to Lick observatory. They didnt give us our fried shrimps. Awful place.

This is East San Joses "happening" dinner house. The place is very large and was packed with people. We were still seated right away and served quickly. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Our two small children were especially attended to. I highly recommend this restaurant for an upper scale experience.

Service excellent, food :( , order mussels which i love, the top part of the mussels where over cooked the bottom part under cook, still sealed, which tells me they where not steam maybe baked in oven. Rest of my order was excellent, but when you have one dish gone bad just changes your dinning experience. Will return and try again:)

Went here for an early Friday evening meal. Biscuits to start which were nice as ever. I went for the lobster, shrimp and scallops on rice which was well judged in portion size and very tasty; the scallops in particular melted in the mouth. Very attentive servers. Decor was a bit tired, could do with some brightening up.

The wait was ridiculous, over and hour and a half when my party was told 30-40min. Also the waitress only asked one at my table how he liked his food and beer and totally ignored the rest of the table. Disappointed with the entire experience.

Lobster was not that good. Also i think its expensive and the staff is not the great. It took us 18 minutes to even be noticed at the table and after 30 minutes to get the food. Wow not good at all!

I grew up on this place but quality the past few times just hasnt been good. Chowder was flavorless, shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. 2 stars are pretty much just for the biscuits.
