Had an absolutely awful experience here. My boyfriend and I are seafood lovers and decided to give this place a try last night after reading so many raving reviews about this it. We ordered the traditional calamari and california krunch rolls for our appetizers. The calamari had no flavor what so ever. California krunch rolls were less than mediocre in flavor as well. For our entrees my boyfriend ordered the fish and chips, and I had the linguini & clams. The fish tasted very "off" to my boyfriend and he could not finish it. The linguini & clams is supposedly made in a white wine sauce with some garlic and chopped clams. The food was extremely bland with no taste. The "white wine" sauce was completely lacking in flavor, and the chopped clams was simply poor quality clams. We both could not even come close to finishing our meals, much less putting a dent in them. It is worth noting that we both became extremely sick after eating here, spent the night extremely nauseous, vomiting, and experiencing a fever. The food is NOT good quality, and certainly NOT worth the price. I am extremely disheartened and disappointed by the experience here. I have read many great reviews about this place on both Yelp and Google, and was so excited to eat here! However the experience was so absolutely awful others should be warned about this place. If you are looking for good quality and good tasting seafood, PLEASE go elsewhere!!!

Great food, great service and great prices. My husband and I just ate here for our first time to celebrate our Anniversary. The wait wasnt too bad, 25 mins at peak hours (7:30) on a Saturday evening. The service was prompt and our server was very friendly. She was very attentive as well. Our water glasses stayed full, and she brought out containers without us having to ask. We both got the select three. My husband chose the halibut, tri tip and golden shrimp with cheesy potatoes and mixed vegetables. I had the ribs, sirloin skewers and roasted chicken with mac and cheese and green beans. The chicken was a little on the dry side, and the green beans a little lackluster. Everything else was delicious. My favorite was the crab cakes we got as an appetizer. I will definitely be returning to have those again. The clam chowder was pretty tasty too. I definitely recommend this restaurant for date night, or even a family dinner. I saw plenty of groups with small children, and no one seemed to be disturbed by them. Which is good to know since we have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 4 month old. Great place, well be back!!!

First timer to this one stop shop restaurant. It has it all folks, land and sea and everything in between. I had a combination plate with their tri tip - medium well and coconut shrimp. My sides were vegetables and cheese potatoes. O M G .. first off, it was so hard to choose that dish .. believe me, they have choices for even the most pickiest of eaters. Everything was fresh, especially their sourdough bread [on the house, I might add]. They also have a full bar and a pretty awesome wine selection. Service was great, our waitress was an old co-worker of my daughters. Super sweet, attentive and definitely worth coming back because I didnt get to have the catfish and hush puppies I was eyeing at. Soon!!

Great Service...everyone is courteous from the minute we walk in the door and get seated! This is my go to place for my crab legs. Ive had the fish and chips with the panko and its delish too!! We have been going here for a few years now and everything has been tasty. Food is always hot with a beautiful presentation. Drinks are always cold and refilled. We love sitting in Georges section...very polite, honest and on point. Overall the food and service is always consistently GREAT! I look fwd to coming here to eat.

I like the food though its nothing unique. They must be doing pretty well since they have a policy of not taking reservations for parties under ten. Id go there with my husband, but not with my friends as there are plenty of good restaurants that will let your party of 8 reserve a table rather than wait until two come available at the same time on a busy evening. Luckily there is Pacific Commons two miles and two freeway exits down 880 with lots more choices.

I havent been in this restaurant in about 2 or 3 years, but before then, every time I ate there I found bugs walking on the table and on the floor (3 times). Ants and silverfish. I was even accused once of bringing the bugs in the restaurant. They offer us a $7.50 coupon off the next time we dined at Market Broiler and, obviously, we never returned. Oysters on the half shell were served warm, fish overcooked and service sucked.

I was craving some crab legs so I decided to stop in here. I was not disappointed. There were many wonderful seafood options. I got the salad and clam chowder, with a side of crab legs of course. Everything was delicious, especially the fresh baked sourdough bread that comes with the meals. The price was not outrageous like many seafood places, and the service was good. I may even return again before I leave town in 2 days.

I always get the mussels in tomato sauce and a few dozen oysters, and I wash everything down with a nice glass of BASS from tap. Mussels and oysters are always fresh. I tend not to order the entrees: 1) takes too long..service sucks, 2) either over cooked or too salty...sometimes both, 3) over priced!, 4) by the time i am finished sopping up the tomato sauce from the mussels with the fresh baked bread, I AM STUFFED!

Great restaurant, good food but if you get Jorge as a server watch out he has an attitude and your probably better off just asking for a different section. 3 of the orders were messed up, he got frustrated when we asked to add a soup instead of veggies on a entree and repeatedly told us that "it comes with veggies not soup, *sigh* fine it will be 3 dollars extra" excellent atmosphere and a great time otherwise.

Service is great , with all staff checking if we are doing ok and refilling our drinks . Food was ok especially the crab Alfredo, but the steamed snow crab , was a bit over steamed and possibly not as fresh . The steamed crab meat was a bit dryer than what I am used to . Other than that they do offer great items to choose from, next time I will just try other dishes .

We have been dining here for years. Have had special occasions in their private dining room, as well as many lunches and dinners for smaller family groups. The food is fantastic, beautiful plating, and a large menu selection. I would only recommend having two courses, the servings are large and rich soups and sauces. Lobster ravioli is a big favorite.

Mixed experiences here, sometimes the food is fantastic and sometimes your half a crab comes out missing 3 of its legs (making it about 1/4 of a crab). Service depends strongly on your waiter or waitress, and if youre sat by the bar dont expect much attention. I dont want to be totally negative though weve had some good experiences here too

I cannot tell you how many thousands of times I drove by this place before finally going. It is the best restaurant in Fremont, and even the East Bay, hands down. I even had my Flipping Top Digit birthday party here. I generally mix it up a restaurants, but I always now only order these here: Beef Wellington French Onion...
