I have frequented this restaurant a couple of times for late lunch on a weekend and, overall, I do enjoy this restaurant on a personal note; however, Im very displeased and disappointed about the catering (pick-up) service. I called to place a large order for a company meeting a week prior to my event. The hostess who took my order indicated that I can pick my order up at 11:30am the morning of my meeting (plenty of time to get to the restaurant, load the platters of food in my vehicle and travel back to the office for set-up). The morning of my event, I called the restaurant promptly at 11am when their establishment opened and they answer phone calls. I asked specifically about my order and if it would be ready by 11:30am or if I would have to wait. The young lady who answered the phone put me on hold to go check. A few moments later, a gentleman picked up my call and asked if he could be of assistance. I mentioned that I was calling about my order. He asked what he could help me with as if my conversation with the young lady was not conveyed to him. Again, I explained the purpose of my call, asking if my order would be ready promptly at 11:30am or if I would have to wait. He indicated that everything would be ready on time, right at my 11:30 pick-up time. Well... I arrived at 11:30am, but didnt get my order until 25 minutes later. I stood waiting while the hostess looked, clearly, confused about how to seat incoming customers. After 15 minutes of looming in the lobby area, I asked if my order was coming soon. She walked toward the back of the restaurant where the cooks were prepping food and came back to me, replying, "Theyre making it right now so it should be a few more minutes." A few more minutes wouldnt have seemed so long if I had only been waiting for "a few minutes." She then turned to her register where she retrieved a receipt and a pen and asked me to sign. Looking at the receipt, it was obviously not my order and when I pointed it out to her, she said, "Oh, I thought you were someone else!" (eyes rolling...) I finally signed for the correct receipt and the manager, without apologizing for my wait, came over to tell me that he would help me load my vehicle (which I was ready to request at this point anyway). All said and done, I got my order almost 30 minutes late, made it back to work and was tardy having lunch set-up and ready by noon. Although I will likely eat at this restaurant again in the future, I will not order food for pick-up again. I recommend that if they want to successfully have a pick-up service for catering orders, they: 1. Tend to the pick-up orders as a priority and make sure they are READY at the time they confirm, and 2. Create, at LEAST, one parking stall in the front for pick-up service. The parking lot where Pacific Catch is located in isnt large enough to accommodate the demand of customers who shop/eat at the many establishments within the center.

Parking was an absolute nightmare but I visited on black Friday so perhaps not significant. I was seated relatively quickly without reservation for a late lunch lunch. They sent out these little fish pretzels and cold (I mean COLD) shelled unseasoned edemame as table gratis. Frankly if the edemame were room temp or warmer and seasoned if would have been better. Mango ice tea glass was small for $3 and with no sugar/sweeteners on the table but free refills keep the nice waiter busy. If I were a waiter here Id pray for bigger glasses!! Firecracker roll was nice fresh and appropriately portioned but nothing to write home about and certainly not spicy. Fish and chips were very good and arrived at the table hot. The spicy chips have a touch of salt and paprika and perhaps a garam masala ... Very good no matter the sprinkled on spices. Fish was small but well battered and fried. The jalapeno tartar sauce seemed home made and pwas quite nice but the jalapeno flavor is lost in the mix. If you are going to advertise jalapeno or firecracker I would expect delivery on this. The slaw with the fish and chips was quite nice and generally good. My server was Marco and I highly recommend him ... He was attentive, helpful and very responsive. On his advice I had the in house made pineapple cake desert with a coconut ice cream ... The cake was a little dry and overdone but the flavor was excellent. It was advertised with caramel and that was mostly a plate topper. I personally would have put some pineapple syrup on the dry cake but for a fish joint this house made dessert wasnt bad. All in all a good $40 lunch that couldve been my dinner but the food was lacking the flavor of some advertised components.

If you want fresh tasty salmon, Pacific Catch, Dublin is the place to fulfill you craving. I picked up my party from Dublin BART, decided we needed to eat, checked Zagat ratings & 5 minutes away after making online reservations we were in the parking lot ready for an adventure. Smiling & charming Maddie our hostess sat us immediately. Jennifer, our bubbly, attentive & knowlegable waitress guided us thru the menus. Manager Edgar loves his job & shows it. His coming over to check on us was really quite a treat. It was pure salmon indulgence, salmon dip, chowder & a ginger garlic salmon entree. The calamari & dipping sauce, California roll with real crab & Vietnamese steak sandwich also were great. I can compare our meal to SF wharf seafood dining, delicious. Pace yourself & have a mouthwatering desert,ie malasadas, hot bitesize donuts with chocolate dipping sauce. We will definitely be back. Thanks everyone for a wonderful experience

Very disappointed with the food and service. The food was bland and overcooked. My son had the Polehu steak, ordered medium rare, but it came medium well. The steak had no flavor and tasted like it only had a bit of salt rubbed on it. I ordered the grilled Ono, and it was dry and rubbery with no flavor. Our server kept forgetting to bring me water and the wine I ordered, despite my asking him a couple times. He also forgot to bring my kids juice refills that I had requested until I reminded him after some time had passed. He was nice and apologetic about it though. The prices were high for the low quality of food.

This is my second review for the same experience since I cant find the previous. Submittal.??? My wife and I ordered the 2 piece cod fish dinner and felt the service and quality of the food was excellent. However I was still quite hungry after the meal. It consisted of 2 very small pieces of fish, 10 French fries and a thimble full of coke slaw. Although I hate to all the waste in other restaurants I dont plan on revisiting Pacific Catch. They should offer seconds for those who wish a complete meal for $13.00 plus tip.
