The potato salad comes with bacon on top! The potato salad was very creamy, perhaps overdressed, but it didnt seem too mayo-y. Perhaps there was sour cream in there too? The red skin potatoes were included with their skin still on, decently cooked, not too mushy, not underdone, although I do prefer mine a little bit more al dente. There wasnt any egg or veggies in the mix, although there were visible herbs. And obviously the bacon on top. Overall, it was fine, had a bit of tang, and I liked the bacon, but it wasnt the most exciting potato salad out there. The macaroni salad wasnt actually "macaroni", but rather little tiny tubes. The pasta was nicely cooked, not mushy, not underdone. There was also some shredded carrot, but no other vegetables or egg. There was a bit of seasoning in the mayo-based dressing, and it was nicely dressed, not overdone, but still creamy. It was topped with a generous sprinkling of black pepper, which I appreciated. But overall, not much flavor.

Im a sandwich snob and this is by far the best spot for sandos in the Marina/Cow Hollow area! Food: Ive tried just about everything on the menu and the sauces truly set these guys apart from the rest. The bomb sauce explodes all over your taste buds and is an excellent addition to any sandwich. My favorite go to is the "In-N-Out special" a roast beef sandwich that really tastes like a burger. Service. Always greeted with a "Whats up bro!" Everyone here has a smile, and the Hawaiian surf dialect makes sure that no one feels like a Haole. Every employee always asks your name and greets you with theirs, an extremely nice touch! Specials: For the daring, I definitely recommend checking out the Masubi Fridays...a special piece of SPAM sushi that is incredible!

I rolled up to the Sandwich Spot with my brother one afternoon and we were both impressed. We were both feeling pretty hungry and ordered accordingly. As a rule of thumb, I dont eat a lot of pork. In this case however, I was willing to make an exception when I spotted the Blavocado. A triple decker, toasted whole wheat sandwich stacked a mile high with avocado, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. My goodness was it delicious. My little brother ordered up an equally as good wich called the Soul Surfer. This sucker was a full-blown Ruben in disguise and left us both flat on our backs. Needless to say, our munchies were cured and we went on our merry way. As a bonus, they accept Square.

I freaking love this place, fantastic food and great service. Lots of different sandwiches to choose from. My favorite sandwich there hands downs would have to be the #2 The Bobby Blade. Turkey, avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese with warm and fresh Dutch crunch roll not to mention it being dirzzled down with that amazing Bomb sauce. I I usually grab me a sandwich everyday for lunch before 12 PM , anytime after that they are completely slammed with customers, slinging them tasty sandwiches left and right. Hey sandwich spot; you guys rock. Two thumbs up

My roommate loves this place and brought me a couple of times. They give you a free cookie if its your first time, so thats cute. The sandwiches have funny names (I got "the Hot Chick" and my roommate got "the Naughty Nannie") and are delicious mixtures - their "Bomb" sauce is pretty good. They have a nice outdoor seating area and decent selection of chips etc. to go along with your sandwich. The only thing I will say is the sandwiches are big enough to share - even a half is quite big (theyre at least footlongs, and they are packed with ingredients).

A good alternative sandwich spot if youre not wanting to wait in line at Ikes. Greta place for a post workout meal if youre in the Marina or the Presidio. They have dutch crunch as a bread option, which is a large portion why I like this place. Get the bomb sauce. They do have sandwiches named after Giants, but some of them are some players who should not be named. *coughBrian Wilsoncough* The workers are nice, but this guy who rung me up was insistent on me getting something to drink.

Ive been here a couple times since I live nearby - and this is totally the spot to grab sandwiches in the Marina! Ive had the Girl Next Door on dutch crunch and it did not disappoint. It was definitely super spicy though - so if youre not into spice I do not recommend it. Ive had a few other sandwiches but unfortunately I cant remember their names. However, this is my go-to sandwich joint :)

We ate here first time because we were tired and it was near our rooms. Didnt expect the most delicious sandwiches, fresh crunchy bread, crazy friendly staff, and amazing warm gooey cookies. Came back again and was just as good the second time. Cant say enough good stuff about this place.

With so many sandwiches to choose from i had no idea what to pick. Suggested by the staff,I just had a number 8, hot chick, and loved it :). Very nice sandwich. The chicken was very juicy and the spiciness was on point. Thanks for a great meal in SF. Fred, Portugal.

This place is unbelievable. They have a variety of meat laden specialty sandwiches that feature fresh ingredients and the best sourdough roll in SF. They also feature special sauces. My favorite is the Secret Sauce which goes well with a Pastrami Mommy sandwich.

I got the Wildcat sandwich. Pretty good sandwich, though less savory than I like. I would personally recommend Ikes or Mr. Pickles over the Sandwich Spot, but this place also has a selection of beers and a chiller atmosphere, if youre looking for a hangout spot.

Maybe they used to be good but it certainly wasnt my experience. We watched them not greet multiple customers while they were standing in front of them. The sandwiches were average and very soggy. Do yourself a favour and head to blue barn around the corner.

My son and I stop in each time we come through San Francisco to go to the doc. They have the best sandwiches! Great quality and cooked fresh on site! Friendly staff and owner are quick and attentive. The second time in, they remembered us!

First time here? Get a sandwich on Dutch Crunch Personal favorite is the Mother Clucker. Staff is always super friendly. Sandwiches are awesome. Best sandwiches in the whole area. Amuse yourself with all the innuendo as you wait.

The first SF sandwich place Ive been to that rises above the usual East Coast deli comparisons. Big, friendly NorCal vibe as soon as you walk in. Bomb sauce is aptly named and, oh yeah, the sandwiches are amazing.

Good food with tasty suggestions, names of sandwiches that will make you laugh, super friendly staff, and not a huge line at noon on a Saturday, all make this a great stop if you are hungry and on the go.

Believe in the goodness of dutch crunch! Good choice of sandwiches on their menu, and custom-built sandwiches are also available. Of course, youve got to get some avo on whatever you end up getting...
