We stopped here with our 2 kids and were totally impressed with this unassuming sandwich shop. The menu is short, but theyve put a lot of thought into what items made the cut. My husband had the Jean Claude van Ham, which he said was excellent. I had the only vegetarian option, but it was amazingly creative. The kids menu was even shorter with only grilled cheese or grilled ham and cheese, but thats what my kids order no matter where we are, so I didnt mind that there werent more offerings. Theres 1 side dish and 1 dessert. We tried the potato side dish, and one $3 serving was enough for the 4 of us to share. We were so full that we didnt get to try the bread pudding dessert. What surprised me even more in this tiny restaurant was that they had a whole crate of stuff for kids to play with - Playdoh, coloring books - and in the back patio area they even have a small play house. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will absolutely go back.

Huge sandwiches in a cozy setting, with a nice beer and wine selection. The best part were the buns!! My chicken cutlet was sadly flavorless, but my husbands pork sandwich was to die for! Overall it was a bit heavy for the light dinner we had planned on this sunny afternoon (would be GREAT after a night of drinking ;)). Nice dog friendly patio in the back with ping pong table and playhouse for kids.

Only grab the skins and ends! The chicken sandwiches are seriously nothing special. HUGE bun and the chicken is overcooked and the flavors taste off. Unfortunately my chicken sandwich tasted like throw up to be honest, must have been the peppers. My friend got the buffalo chicken and wasnt impressed either. Now the skins and ends were really good!!! Grab those!

I was very excited about this place when it first opened. But in the end, the sandwiches take a long time and I havent found any of them to be completely to my liking, despite numerous visits. They all have something just a little bit off going on. Theyre delicious, just somehow more experimental than Id like in a comfort food spot.

Definitely quality ingredients and creative choices but a bit pricey. The bread is tasty but hard and not very easy to handle as a sandwich. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall we spent $40 for two sandwiches and two draft beers with tip. Certainly not worth $20pp. Nice size patio area for outdoor eating.

Damn tasty sandwich, fries were overcooked and worse, not fresh and lukewarm. Had a big cut of fat in my corned beef which depending on your preferences is a good thing (me) or a bad thing (the wife). Sandwich + side + soda + tip came to $21. And for $21, the food is not worth coming back for.

Massive sandwiches with some unique combos. Its not fast food by any means, and well worth giving a try! Hopefully in the future they will consider different or extended hours of operation, closing at 4pm is a missed opportunity for the beer crowd at Peddlers along with people coming home.

Best sandwich Ive had in Seattle. I ordered the namesake "Mean Sandwich" and it was incredible. And they served it with Cloudburst beer! Great combo. Loved meeting the owners and it sounds like they have a lot of events. Definitely a place to try out!

These sandwiches are some big mamma jammas!! The tower above most sandwiches available from other places. They are also delicious, using fresh flavors and ingredients. The shop is very clean and bright. Great spot!!

I ordered the sardine sandwich and wasnt a big fan. My biggest gripe is the bread is dense and dry. And theyre not cheap, either. Service is friendly and attentive, though.
