I give credit where credit is due, but this falls under the never again category. My boyfriend and I looked this place up because he remembered getting an amazing chili cheese omelet somewhere, he figured this was the place so we wandered out there. We were seated immediately, and the guy who got us our drinks did so quickly. They took a little long to take our orders for a place that was maybe a bit over half-full, but thats no big deal. When we got our food, the sides were entirely wrong , so they took it back to give us the right sides. When they brought it back, they still had a side wrong on my orders AND his. They left the wrong side (a bowl of fruit) on our table for a few minutes, before coming back and giving my boyfriend his correct side...and then going off and giving the bowl of fruit to someone else. Neither of us touched it, but there was certainly an ew factor there. Later we realized he never got his toast either. When they returned my meal, one of the sides was still wrong, but they told me if I wanted to get started on the omelet theyd bring out the hash browns. One bite into the omelet and I was sure it wasnt what I ordered. Actually, it was full of stuff I strongly dislike, and I explained it to the waitress who said shed go get it fixed. By this time the hash browns were finally out so I ate those while waiting 15 minutes for my correct omelet. Side note: I got gravy as an extra side to go with my toast and it was actually pretty great. At one point when the waitress came by about some mess up or another, I noticed a hair in my boyfriends eggs benedict. I pulled it out and it was long, blonde, and definitely not one of ours. To their credit, they didnt charge us for his meal after they saw us pull the hair out. Hes usually a complete germophobe, but he smiled, handled it like a champ and just cut out the portion I pulled the hair from. By the time my omelet arrived, I was full from sides, hardcore icked out and really ready to leave. My omelet had green onions in it like it was supposed to, but some asparagus got mixed in (probably because they look kinda like the onions) which definitely wasnt supposed to be in there. A little asparagus isnt the end of the world, but it was annoying that they had messed up yet again. For what we paid, the meal quality (once we got the right meals) was a strong average. When they gave us the bill, all of the items were wrong, but the price was correct so we just shrugged and paid it. The waitresses did seem genuinely apologetic about our whole lousy meal experience, but I would have preferred them getting it right the first...or second...or third time. Overall, I might have let this pass as a 2 star. But on getting home we both ended up feeling pretty sick. My boyfriend is pretty sure that this place used to be good, but next time Im picking the place!

Sorry but this restaurant was a real disappointment. I ordered steak and eggs over easy. My friends and I ordered a full stack of pancakes to share. One of them ordered a special hamburger and the other ordered a veggie omelette. None of the food was anything to write home about except the little dishes of fruit. The melon was sort of green but the watermelon was sweet and the orange was nicely ripe. The pineapple chunk was very fresh too. I was most disappointed in a "steak" which was dry, tough, and smelled just a tad overripe. I have a strong stomach so I tried some but most of it ended up being taken home to the dog. My eggs were supposed to be over easy and were Fair, though a bit hard around the edge of the yolks. The home fries were burnt on the surface yet still had a layer that was undercooked! My friends omelette was okay at best, nothing special. The hamburger was also nothing special. The pancakes were dry. We didnt get any butter with them and by the time the waiter came back, we were ready to leave. It wasnt busy, we parked right in front and there was no crowd inside. The service was passable, it took a while to get the food but we were hungry and that always makes the wait seem longer. The waiter was nice enough. I suspect this sort of place hires people who need a job desperately until something better comes along. I rated it Below Average because at $40 for three people, we really should have gotten much better food than youd get from some dive like Dennys. Instead, even the hamburger was boring and nothing special. The best thing on the table was the fruit dish - and all Broken Yolk contributed to that was cutting it into chunks. I dont know how anyone thinks the food we got yesterday was even better than wed get from some MacD clone.

Just went there today & THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! I AM NEVER GOING BACK THERE! This was my third visit & I am disgusted by the way I was treated today! First of all the table I was seated at was filthy. Then the bus boy brought me water without a straw. A couple that sat down ten minutes after me was serviced before I was & received their food before I did! HOW AWFUL? Next, when I finally got service another waiter brought out my drink without napkins & asked for a straw that I never received. WHO THE HELL DRINKS OFF OF RESTARAUNT GLASSES THESE DAYS? Finally my food comes & I had to ask for the things that come standard on a damn table SUCH AS NAPKINS, UTENSILS, OH & MY DAMN STRAW! LIKE HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO EAT STEAK WITHOUT UTENSILS. HOWEVER, THEY SURE WERE QUICK TO BRING OUT THAT DAMN BILL. OF COURSE I WALKED UP OUTTA THERE WITHOUT TIPPING & DAMN NEAR DIDNT PAY EITHER...................DONT EVER GO TO THE PACIFIC BEACH LOCATION........I WONT BE GOING TO ANY OF THEM EVER AGAIN & ILL BE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD!

Mi esposo y yo íbamos muy seguido, llevamos a la familia a desayunar ahí todos juntos por el ambiente agradable y la comida es buena y la sirven rápido, pero hasta esta última vez, hace una semana, en que fuimos y justo al terminar de desayunar, pagar y hacer sobremesa, nos cae una cucaracha del techo, espantosa, brillosa y gorda. Hasta ahorita traigo asco. En ese momento decidimos no volver jamás. Espero que pronto tengan higiene en sus cocinas, porque si cae una a algún platillo, no les va a ir muy bien.

Not sure what happened to this place. Everyone would rave about the food, but now it seems sub par. Where to begin? The hamburger seemed to be frozen and lacked any form seasoning, not to mention the bun was covered in grease and soggy to the touch. The fries were definitely 100% shipped in frozen garbage. When they have little waves on them, you know the head chef and his team did not prep them. The English muffin was stale and tasteless. The home fries, more like fried mashed potatoes. The cooks have no standards for the items they send out of the kitchen, and it shows in everything you eat. The staff was impersonal and treated us like we were just a means to make money. We got our food pretty quickly, but its not shocking when you get the bland piles of crap we were served. Also dont be surprised if you order a drink and dont get it. Double check your receipt before you leave!
