Walked in, sat down, first cup of coffee had items floating in it, waitress Lisa brought another cup out, didnt even bother to remove other cup. Next, brought out wrong meal, scrambled eggs were ordered, received over easy eggs, bacon sitting in middle of eggs. She left the meal there, as if there werent enough dishes on the table already. Bacon looked disgusting, burnt beyond belief. She finally brought a small side plate of nearly raw scrambled eggs. Asked for new bacon since she didnt bring any with the new eggs, she then brought out raw microwaved bacon. My omelet was good, but toast wasnt toasted and had a pile of butter in center, not even warm. We will never ever go back to the cracked egg. Terrible service, terrible food, how do you mess up eggs when thats supposed to be your specialty and the name of your business. Manager didnt seem to even care when notified of issues.

I dont care who you are, but you cant deny breakfast at random times of the day if its offered to you. Thats where The Cracked Egg is a blessing in disguise. Your average diner atmosphere, choose among their filling and stuffed omelettes, salads, sandwiches and other breakfast options. (Tip: the pesto omelette is a pretty tasty and healthy post-breakfast dish that tastes less like brunch and is even more perfect for lunch.) Did I mention their salads are huge? Yes, huge. So huge, in fact, that you may not want to finish it in one sitting unless you plan on unbuttoning somewhere or another. As far as pricing goes, youll dine on an affordable diner budget. Pay at the counter when youre through, and be thankful you could escape and pretend youre having a Sunday morning brunch instead of a weekday back-to-the-office lunch. Hey, its what I did.

Just about average in every way. This was my third visit to this location. At best the food is plentiful, but tends to lack that classic american diner breakfast flavor from all three items Ive tried there. For example, todays french toast was on the dry side, simple egg batter lightly dipped without a hint of vanilla or cinnamon. Since the egg custard didnt have time to soak in the bread, it leaned on the dry side with a lot of bite. On a previous venture I ordered a California omelet that included two limp strips of bacon and one slice of cheese wedged in between a plain omelet wrapper, topped with half a scooped out avocado. Theres always a line but Im not sure why. The last two times I wasnt greeted with a hello or good morning.. At the prices they charge for breakfast fare, I can think of better alternatives.

Went Sunday for brunch...just my wife and I. Place was really hot...85 degrees maybe. Yes its a bit over 100 outside now, but it should silk be more manageable. Initial service was spoty. Never got creamer for my coffee...didnt check back for refills till food came and didnt come back after. Restaurant was clean enough but not spotless. So food. I ordered cinnamon roll pancakes with eggs and bacon. My wife got stiffed French toast and added eggs and bacon. Chocolate Milk wasnt real cold...food was four stars....but I couldnt past the temp. By the end of the meal we were sweating and so uncomfortable that we couldnt stay any longer and rushed the waitress to give us our check... We probably wont be back during the summer. Some place willing to run the air silk get our business in the mean time.

This restauraunt has an instrusive practice of requiring you to disclose the amount of tip you want to leave. Instead of allowing you to write in your own tip as usual, the cashier asks you at the register whether you would like to leave a tip and if so for how much. Its neither the cashiers or the other people in lines business what tip, if any, I leave. The breakfast is good but overpriced ($3.25 for a small cup of orange juice). The cooks are all Mexicans who may be heard slaughtering goats and fighting coxs in the partially open kitchen. Despite this, the blueberry pancakes are worth returning...

DONT GO HERE IN THE SUMMER!!!!! My fiancé and I love the cracked egg food but this location is horrible in the summer! Their AC doesnt work!! Last summer we noticed it was extremely hot so we stopped going to this restaurant. Now its summer again so we went and we were literally sweating while we ate our food. The ice in our water literally melted while we were waiting for our food to come. Its so miserable in the restaurant. When we complained to our server.. "she said I know, imagine working in heat like this"! Wow thats just ridiculous!

My wife and I arrived at 945am. We waited 10 minutes to put our name on the list due to a line of diners waiting to pay. Once we put our name in the list we were told there was a 30 minute wait. At that time there were 6 tables open and clean. As we waited there was a constant four tables open and clean.

Poor food quality. No flavor, canned jalapenos. Overpriced for the low quality. Coffee cake was yummy and place was clean. Staff was friendly and checked on us. But We wont be coming back, there are MUCH better places to get breakfast. How did this place get a Zagat rating??

Great breakfast selection. Outside patio. No Wi-Fi. Good price for meal. Must try the coffee cakes they switch then by the hour so if youre lucky you can catch the pumpkin or cherry flavors but their good regardless. Look at the specials on white board as it changes daily.

This place is tiny tiny tiny. If you are claustrophobic or just dont like being arm to arm with other people dont go here. I didnt get a chance to try to food. I dont mind standing in line or even taking a number but this place is too small to even form a line.

Amazing breakfast, the potatoes are the best Ive ever had. Consistently great food makes this one of my favorite places to eat. Make sure to gIve yourself some extra time because they are always busy (like any great restaurant ) but very worth the wait.

A Vegas staple. Their large portions and cheap prices keep us coming back week after week. My vegetarian girlfriend has been all over the menu and still loves each thing she has ordered. While it is always quite busy it is certainly worth the wait.

Love this place! We have been going there since they opened and before that at their other location. Their food is delicious and great service. Sign up for the rewards program and get points and eventually get coupons too!

Great food for your dollar. Great, friendly service. Open for breakfast & lunch. What they do, they do very well. Locals hangout. Gets busy. Best kept secret in the northwest valley. Good, honest comfort food. Enjoy.

Food was great and the service was just perfect. Smiling faces greet you at the door and follow you to the table with your server. I came to see if it was as good as the one I went to in GA and its just as great.
