It is what it is, nothing fancy, all you can eat buffet. I always seem to get sat next to some angry over pretentious people. If youve seen the movie waiting, its the couple that doesnt tip that Im always next to, which just doesnt help the impending tummy of doom I get to look forward to after eating. But hey i love my family and sometimes this is the chosen place. Pick your battles. Its not all bad though, i do enjoy playing mind games with my stomach, i start dinner off with a slightly over watered salad. So naturally my stomach believes we are at a chinese buffet or some hole in the wall diner. Then its a free for all, heres a taco! pizza! hush puppies! ravioli! My poor stomach at this point doesnt know what to believe and is probably thinking my body has been taken over by a 5 year old. For dessert they do offer many surgary delights. I say delights because well, if youve managed to make it this far, you might as well wash all that down with sweets. The hurt stomach is already going to happen, so why not. With a broad range of desserts, people can make the most magical of after dinner delights. I mean who doesnt want a rock hard cookie topped with slippery banana cream pie, licorice, gummy worms, ice cream and cotton candy. What!?! At this point i proudly take my culinary concoction back to my table with pride, under the awe and gaze of every child I pass. And as my food begins to ooze and melt together, closely resembling that of a 2 year olds finger painting, I take one bite and leave. Happily knowing i just got my monies worth for the 17 dollar a person tummy ache. The end...

Food was great. Service was terrible first they charged a dinner fee when it was over an hour till their dinner block started as stated on their board. Dishes were left for over 15 minutes when it was clear that I was done with them and having to flag down a waitress for a refill 20 minutes after I had finished my glass. Both such occasions I wasnt even asked if I was done with either or if I needed a refill. Yet close to the end when I left to use the restroom. I come back 3 minutes later and not only was my table cleared they had already sat another pair of customers at it. Needless to say I left immediately and was extremely unimpressed with the customer service.

Food was great, it was clean, and staff were friendly. Even the manager was courteous. We have 4 kids so we were in past closing time and we were never rushed in any way. In fact the staff asked if we needed anything else before cleaning up. Only advice I would give is check the stacking plates a bit more often. The bathrooms were clean, in fact it smelled so much of bleach and cleaner one would think someones covering up a crime. Overall an extremely pleasing experience for our whole family and highly recommend this golden corral! ☺

Theres something for everyone. Meat and fish, vegetables and salad, desserts and sugar-free options are the standards at the Corral so most people can find something theyll enjoy. It is loud and has as much commotion as a three-ring circus. Pros: The steaks are really good quality beef and have a good seasoning and marinade, The shrimp, salads and rolls are fresh and delicious. the desert selections are good too. Cons: I dont understand why it causes an outrage when I dip shrimp skewers into the Chocolate Wonderfall fountain??

I have been there a few times, do not like it. not so much the food as the kids going up and eating off the the things licking spoons,picking there nose and touching the spoons. I seen people with dirty hands, taking the spoons and food and put it on there tray. one good place to go on a diet, big fat people with there tray mound with food shoveling like they havent eat for 6 mo. that place is anything but clean, a good place to get a ton of GERMS. will never go back

Plenty of choices for every family member. Food was fresh. Hot food hot & cold food cold. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A bit of trouble finding a cleared table to seat 4 adults and 2 kids. Many empty tables were dirty in all sections. This is a buffet with homestyle food with a variety of choices. Due to tables and floors being littered only a 4. If I had the choice of a 3 1/2 I would have made that choice.

I went to Golden Corral in Nampa for the first time. It was clean. waitress was attentive and the food was good. Lots of choices. Only one thing, that is not really a complaint, just a friendly piece of advise; Dont salt anything before you taste it. You probably wont need it. Some foods already have enough salt. It was one of the nicer Golden Corrals. I will go back and take my family.

Went to Golden Corral to have a family dinner and a waitress was absolutely rude!! And after she threw a fit about cleaning a table and us moving our drinks we went to leave and found the manager and the manager was extremely nice and refunded us. But as we were talking to the manager she runs over and says that we called her names but absolutely did NOT! Experience was AWFUL..

I made myself a little chef salad that was great then had the fried chicken which as usual was excellent. A shrimp kabob and their barbque ribs. Loved the barbque sauce. And to top the meal off had a piece of caramel cheesecake and hot fudge sundae. My entire family enjoyed the meal as we can pick out our favorite foods and no one leaves hungry.

Food was good, some of it was great. I felt the price was a very good value. Our 7 year old daughter loves this place, especially the chocolate fountain. Staff was friendly and kept busy trying to keep the place clean. Theres a lot of customer traffic and its shows on the carpet and furniture though. Butt.. Well be back for sure.

Food is pretty good, and there is variety but, prices are way too expensive. Brought my family of 4 and paid 56 bucks. 13.99 a person is a bit crazy. I can go to a nice steak house and get a plate for under 13.99. The kids did enjoy the experience of getting what ever they wanted to eat though.

I must have thrown away four or five POUNDS of food it was so inedible. Tried a lot, and a lot was distasteful. These guys are supposed to have some sort of core products that are the best -- NOT happening here. The staff is inattentive and the cooks are ineffective. I do not recommend.

The food was great! All you can eat for a low price! Unfortunately, it did cause my elderly grandmother to suffer a heart attack and die right there on the spot so I might have to dock them on that. Overall, its a nice experience. 5/7 RIP Grandma Gertrude 2016

I always go here thinking theres such a great selection and always leave wondering why I think its so important to have a big selection, especially because their big selection does not mean that any of it is good selection. Its never as good as it seems.
