We arrived 8pm on a Saturday, two hours before close. The food was barely warm. The fried rice was the warmest thing I tried, but not even close to a safe 140° F. It barely registered warmth, so probably 99° F. Beef and broccoli was cold. I took one bite of the spicy shrimp and spit it out because it was cold and under cooked. Everything looked old, and nothing new was brought out the hour we were there. I lost my appetite. What a waste of money! Did I mention the selection? I could have gotten such a better meal for the same money at a dozen other establishments within 15 minutes of here. How greedy to take my money and not put out a single fresh platter. The worst food Ive eaten in San Diego. I hope the health department shuts you down! The one star is for NOT giving me food poisoning! Luckily, I dodged that bullet.

"Its so rude to tell a customer to give the peanuts back that left over from his plate", I saw the Savory buffet staff telling the guy who took the peanuts with him on the way out and telling him to give all peanuts back to him (male). Are they recycling the peanuts? What are they going to do with it? Instead the guy probably just trying to finish it on his way out to the door and all of a sudden the staff male stopped him for only that! They are so rude and the guy gave the left over peanuts to the staff and left. What a rude staff personnel!! Watch out on the peanuts that you are about to eat there, may be just a left over or recycled peanuts from other person.... Be careful!!! Now telling me thats what theyve been doing to other customers//////YAYKS!!! so Dirty.

Too crowded in weekend, the buffet table was so messed up, piece of chicken/beef, vegetable chunks drop everywhere, sitting in the back was so miserable since they turn off the air conditioner (this was asked to a waiter, he couldnt turn it on for some reason. He gave us 3 cups filled with ice cubes instead. I should have ice cup challenge!) The misery did not stop until there, the carpet floor contributed the aroma that you wont be forget forever. Female chef in the front was so distraught by her non stop job, cooking noodles or rice noodles that came continously.

I like this place. The main recommendation to them would be to bring out more lobster. They only bring out 1 or 2 at a time and its gone in less than 60 seconds! I know its expensive but thats what we all go there for! The rest of the food is generally OK. Some of it is not as good as at some other places but all in all, its a pretty good Chinese buffet for the price. Most of the time, its pretty busy in here so plan your time accordingly.

jalapeno chicken is one of my favorites here; its sweet and mixed with some kind of teriyaki sauce. not too spicy unless you take in few slices of jalapeno pepper. I always do take-out and should bring my family and friends to eat there sometimes. People working there are really nice and this place is well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend it to any one who likes asian food.

The food is very good for the price. 9.95 weekday lunch, 15.95 Sunday, not including drink. Very large selection. I especially loved their jalapeño chicken, and their crab cakes. There are lots of seafood options, including mid-grade sushi. Outstanding service. They never let my cup go empty. My only complaint is that it is sometimes a little too busy, but not usually.

I celebrated my sons 14th birthday yesterday, the place is nice and clean, foods are okay, I like their pepper steak and banana plantain, crabs are not too salty unlike at VIP Buffet, staff are very helpful, excellent service, they even provided me small boxes for my sons birthday cake which I brought in to share (to go) with my guests. Thank you.

Food is REALLY bad. They add sugar to EVERYTHING on the buffet. Everything is very sweet and salty. Which means that the food is not fresh. Adding color, sodium, and sugar to mask the real (expired) flavor. And all that for $16 buffet without drinks (just water) if with drinks $18. Pure junk. Felt sick and bad after eating there.

I am scared of Buffets. I been to a few that left bad taste in your mouth literally. This place is open on Christmas day and busy. The food was fresh and tastes great and a lot of variety. They have every thing from sushi to pizza. Beer to sake for drinks. Great for all familys. Price is also great.. I would gladly come back..

After coming from Arizona and being amazed at the lack of seafood buffets, having tried the likes of Yummy Buffet (more like Yucky Buffet) I was very pleased to find this place. Very good variety of dishes and ALL very tasty. Good crab legs and sashimi. All that along with great service. Would definitely recomend this place.

At lunch, besides sea foods, there are all varieties very delicious dishes of chicken, pork, beef, tofu, vegetable, rice, noodle...,plus abundant salad, fruit, sushi bars, soups, deserts, and dim sums, it is greatly worthy for the lunch price of $10.00. It is considered one of the best buffets in the San Diego area.

I been there at 4 pm and the guy in front was like sir we serving dinner time i said yes I know so when Im trying to get food was nothing like old food no salads when I asked (the manager) no answer all what they said sorry and they charge me for dinner time I was there for like 20 mn and I went somewhere to eat again

My party of 7 arrived at 7 pm on Thursday and no "fresh" dishes were put out on the line even though they close at 9:30pm. Thats 2 1/2 hours on old stale dishes. You even started cleaning up the food line 1 1/2 hours before close. We will not be returning unless you improve you service conditions.

I ate here after backpacking in Yosemite as a reward for eating oatmeal, jerky, and hummus for a week. It was amazing. I ate the seafood sampler for 4 by myself. The wait staff is friendly, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the wine prices are reasonable, even if the food prices are inflated.

Good Sushi and not just the cheaper types like some buffets do. Better than average quality with a good variety and some new things I hadnt tried before. A nice mix of seafood. The staff was very polite and friendly. It is an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere. Everyone seems very happy to be here.

Venue: Strip mall restaurant. Once you walk in the door its a pleasant surprise. Pleasant not game changing. Youll find adequate parking in the back. Service: They speak poor English but they have good silent service. Food: Buffet quality food. Japanese, Chinese, and American cuisine.

My dad wanted to go here. Im not a big buffet pertain unless I got to Vegas. The food is ok here. Theres some stuff that I would stay away from. The service is ok here, theyre wick to clear the plates. My daughter got the beef udon soup which was actually decent.
