(+) Mongolian salad, prepared fresh (+) Dessert bar (-) First, I realize that u get what u pay for, but salt is not an excuse for flavor! I went for lunch today, and most of the stuff I got I could not take more than a few bites because it was soo salty! The Mac & cheese, meatloaf, even the white rice with orange chicken, Surprised I didnt go into CHF! (-) Secondly, I put my receipt/table reserved ticket on a table, went to get food, came back and it was gone. I went ahead and sat down to eat, went back for refill and coffee, came back and everything was gone and someone else sitting at my table. Now, it was either busboy or the other person who comes around who took the ticket away in the first place, they said well u have to have a ticket. I said I HAD one, someone took it. Finally complained to manager. It was LUNCH, not premium dinner time, plenty of spaces, so I took another table. Same thing happened again! Seems that if theres a receipt on a table, one might check the time on it to see if its recent and "Hey, theyre at the buffet". Duh. Another guy sitting nearby said "Yeah, they do that all the time." .

They lie about the "buy one adult get one free when you join crave connection" I joined and did not recieve a coupon in my email so then then i text the number to get the coupon so when i got there i told the man about it and I showed the coupon text and the man said "no thats only on your birthday" so i read it again and it doesnt say its only on your birthday. I paid full price. Then i went again and I told the manager about it and she said to text it again so I did and i got a text saying I already joined and the coupon was expired now and I told her about the man before saying its only on your birthday and she said I should have asked to talk to the manager. (she is the manager) She said she will not give me the buy one get one free offer because it is too late. Shes the manager so she could have given me my offer but she just said no so I said im not eating here again and she said thats fine. How rude

I would not reccommend this restaurant to anyone. My Mother who is currently 101 years old and in a wheel chair and unable to handle money or credit cards wanted to eat there on a field trip with 6 other wheel chair bound senior citizens from a Redlands nursing home and they refused my credit card over the phone. I asked for the Manager and they refused any payment I offered over the phone. This is the worst business practice I have every experienced in my 40 years as a self employed individual. I would never treat an elderly person or any person in this manner and expect to be in business for very long. Please do not frequent this establishment and condone this type of treatment of the senior citizens of your community and the surrounding communities of Redlands and Loma Linda and San Bernardino County.

My beautiful mother n law was brought to Hometown buffet for breakfast . As she was eating she noticed a ( dead fly) in the jello !! So she called one of the waitress over. And politely explained what the problem was . The waitress was surprised and excused herself but not before telling my mother n law . That she would bring this to the attention of the manager. So the manager arrives and again asked my mother n law what the problem was . And she repeats the same thing to right !! All the manager says is " what do you want me to do "...Hmmmmm Being the manager I would have expected for him to have a better regard for the customers that spend their hard earned cash at his establishment . So just a warning for anyone reading this .

I paid top dollar and invited my family out to eat and there was Nothing but Mac & Cheese!!! And CHEAP canned food. At one point a dumb waitress was walking around with a platter of cheese sticks. She came up to our table and asked all of us if we wanted some cheesestickS (plural). She gave me ONE freaking cheese stick!! ONE!!!!!! She gave my mom ONE cheese stick too. No one else at my table wanted a cheese stick after seeing that they would only recieve just one. We watched her and she Apperently walked around giving EVERYONE in the entire restauraunt just ONE cheesestick. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! I now HATE hometown buffet. How dare they charge so much for such low quality crap food, and crap service!!!

This HTB in Loma Linda used to be in my opinion the best ever, however my last visit was horrible. Bathrooms were very fowl, had to wait for food to be re-filled numerous times, not once was our table cleared and when I asked an employee if there will be any refilling of the coffee since it was out, she stated that they didnt not have any more coffee...but it was barely into dinner service... :-/ i was just dissapointed in the over all experience. I am a usually a big fan of HTB, however after this last experience, I will probably be making the drive to Golden Corral instead.

Breakfast is pretty good. Its an average buffet. Why is your drink not included in the price? I go for the variety not quantity. If youre spending $8 - $10 on a single dish somewhere else, you might as well spend it here and get soup, salad, various meats and sides plus desserts. Before paying ask to see the manager. Tell them you would like to walk around and check how clean the site is before deciding to eat here. Ive found dirty stuff and the manager will give a free drink or a discount. The more people call them out the cleaner the place will become.

The food is what you can expect, not much daily variation and taste, but many choices. All in all not a bad deal. However, cleanness is more then questionable. Bathrooms needs renovation too. Baby changing table was dirty!!! High chairs are "sticky"! Quite disgusting. If general cleaning would be improved I could give more stars. Update at the end of August 2016. Another visit and was pleased to see that general cleaning has improved! Glad to notice that reviews are apparently read by Hometown management and taken serious. Bravo, one more star!

Salad bar,2 choices of soups.i like their fried chicken,yummy. Sausage dishes,fresh steamed broccoli,tacos, sometimes butterfly shrimp.the BBQ dishes are always good..steaks are always tough, for some reason they can never get right. Noisy with kids running around at times. Deserts are good most time ,freshly baked cookies. Not too bad for buffet if you cant decide what to eat at times. Make sure to get discounts for senior lunch specials between 2-4 pm with free drinks..Or dinners. Military discount on Mondays. Family night.

It was a bad experience the food was terrible every bite of different foods were bad. I complained to the manager and asked her what happened to the quality of there food the chairs and tables were dirty. The only good experience that we had was the manager very kind polite and understanding. Her name is Angelica. I watched her through the whole meal as I was sitting there and I could not believe how hard she worked and how much she gave towards this business that I feel that has faltered no fault of hers.
