You wouldnt know it from the outside, but this is an awesome little restaurant/pizza place stuck inside a strip mall. The décor is very warm and inviting... The bar has a nostalgic 50s feel to it, and the furniture inside is modern and comfortable. We didnt eat on the beer garden outside but I glanced at it and it looked just as nice. The food was absolutely top-notch. I could tell the chef took pride in his work. Everything tasted wonderful. I highly recommend a pizza, whether its a pre-selected one or a build-your-own. According to one of the servers, the flour is imported straight from Italy so the dough is very fresh and has a distinct Italian flavor to it. They also mentioned growing some fruits or vegetables outside on-premise and using them when they ripened in their cooking, which is something very few restaurants bother to do, so I was impressed by that, too. The craft beer selection was impressive, for a place such as this. They even had a hard cider to choose from, which is somewhat rare. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the service was good (no complaints, no mix-ups or mistakes). And for what we got, the price was good, too. I highly recommend this pace if youre looking for a great pizza or just a great meal overall!

I bought a deal for this place off LivingSocial. When we rolled up, I was a bit down trodden as the location seems odd, but all of that disappeared very soon after. The patio is great. You can bring your dog straight out on to the patio if you want, and while I was there during the day, it seems like a great place for an evening adventure as well. The beer selection is pretty on point and if you order a pitcher, it comes in one of those beer tower devices, which lets face it, just makes you feel cooler. We ordered the wings and a provolone sauce with meatball topping for the pizza. Both items were spectacular. The crust was incredible. If you go during Happy Hour, you get a free cheese pizza with a pitcher of beer. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was great. I will definitely be going back here, with or without a coupon.

Food is pretty good, I enjoyed the thin crust pizza, but the service was terrible both times. First time after about 45 mins we were told that our food was coming right out, after another 15 mins were told that the oven was not working and that they had to restart the thing. So about hour and a half later we finally got our food. Next time again had to wait quite awhile, and the place was maybe half full. Must say that both times they gave us appetizers to tide us over till the food finally got there. But all I really wanted was to have my food in a timely manner. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, just need a better kitchen staff.

They churn out great pizza from an apparently super high temperature oven as my pie was ready before I could say Buona Terra, which incidentally was the one I ordered. Dough is nice - crispy and blistered by the oven heat, which is exactly the way it should be. Caramelized onions on my pizza had a bit more "bite" that I would have liked but all in all it was tasty and thats what matters the most. The gentleman who was helping me was very polite and attentive and made sure I was happy with my order. The restaurant has spacious interior and a large outside section thats perfect for parties and group gatherings. Office party anyone?

Delivery was quick and accurate. Had the meatball pizza, a margherita pizza, a garden salad, and the garlic fries. At first glance thought the pizzas might be overdone with just a bit of charred crust, but actually they were delicious, and the meatballs were surprisingly great. The garlic french fries were tasty, and the salad was fresh. We live in a confusing neighborhood in PB, and three times now weve had to tell others where we live after they fail to show up on time. Greg called in advance to confirm, and then delivered on time. Dont believe me if you like, because thatll leave more pizza for me, but well be ordering again.

I got there early on Saturday afternoon they were slow. I ordered a beer from a good selection of drafts, and just hung out while I checked out their menu. I had a business call that lasted almost an hour. I sat on the garden patio where they have heaters because it was a cool day and night, and I am also a smoker. Nicole the waitress checked on me every few minutes. She was awesome. I placed my food order and it was ready in no time. . The service was great and the people were just the same as the service. If youre in San Diego and want a pizza or pasta and a couple of beers this is the place to go.

Originally went last month to try the breakfast pizza Id heard about and was not disappointed!! Cant figure out why nobody else does this but this one was great with an outstanding crust. Im a pizza nut and you wont find better crust in san diego. So again last week went for dinner and tried the cheeseburger pizza which I also loved and had 2 pieces I couldnt finish the next nite reheated which lost nothing in the wait. My wife and I will be back for more, great new addition to the BayPark, Bay Ho area. Almost forgot to mention the great, and friendly service.

Isa.bella is a fantastic place to hang out with friends and family! Ive been there a number of times and have never been disappointed with the food and the service. Its got an outdoor, dog-friendly patio, with comfortable sofas and fire pits. Now to the important part- the food! The pizzas have a yummy, thin crust, the pasta sauces are tasty, and the appetizers, especially the garlic chicken wings, are to die for! I keep coming back for more!

I rarely write reviews, especially bad ones. But I just had the worst pizza Ive ever had. The menu says the Veggie Roast is 11"-12", but this was barely 10". I wouldnt have minded the small size, but there was hardly anything on it. You could see large areas in the middle with no cheese, no red sauce, and no veggies at all, just thin dough. What little flavoring was on it was bland. Sorry, IsaBella, that was inexcusable.

We had our staff holiday party at IsaBellas tonight and it was amazing! The food was fabulous, great variety and everything was truly special. We were out on the patio with the fire pits blazing, a beautiful San Diego winter evening with a grand finale dessert that was fantastic! We all decided that we have to hold our next function here too! The best food and service with a great friendly staff!

I had brunch here for a couple of times, food is very good, they have good IsaBella Bistro combinations. Portions are good, not a brunch with big portions that you feel full that you cant walk, they give you a basket of very good mixed bread as a starter and after 12 they have bottomless mimosas.

Live music and relaxed atmosphere. Good beer and good wine, food is consistently good. Dog friendly patio lets the dog parents enjoy some food with their best friends. Id recomend the pitcher and free pizza happy hour to those that want an awesome deal.
