Check this out. Im not going to comment much about the food which was excellent. However, this place turn out to be the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. After giving them my card(for a total of $45 in food) they told me it wasnt accepting my card for some reason. I look at it there on my phone as saw it ran twice and it was pre-authorized(pending) for ~$90 out of my account total. I mentioned that to them and they said no "we are not getting your money" and that this has happened before there with other peoples card. They said that those 2 charges on my account would drop off. So after being totally embarrassed and waiting for another 30 minutes I just had them charge my girlfriends card for the $45 and paid her back later. There was nothing wrong with my card as it work everywhere else after. A couple days later one charge was still pending and one actually posted to my account. Frustrated I called the manager and he said there was "nothing he could do" and for me to "work it out with your bank" as he said that his restaurant isnt getting the money that has been posted out of my account(what???). I got the feeling he didnt want to help me unlike earlier when I was actually at the restaurant and he pretended to care and reassured me. So they also didnt give my girlfriend her receipt just the one she signed and left a tip on. So calling my bank Wells Fargo Id had to file a claim explaining all this to them for the pending amount that they saw was double charged and the posted transaction. WF told me that they would have to work this out with VISA and it would take 90 days for me to get my money back if at all. Thanks Pizzeria 712, Im glad to pay 3 times $45(~$135 + tip) for your pizza. If you do go to 712, I recommend you pay in cash. Pizzeria 712, thanks for the embarrasment and the frustration, stealing my money. Im just glad this wasnt a first or second date. Nightmare.

A friend and I made a reservation last night. After about AN HOUR, the hostess approached us and told us they had another reservation and we would need to leave, can she get us boxes? The server had just refilled our wine glasses, we were in the middle of eating and had our eye on desert. We were a bit confused and shell shocked to be honest. The server then came over with our check and boxes- and it was clear, we were being kicked out. As we sat quickly finishing the wine we had already paid for, the hostess came back and said we needed to go. We felt we had to chug the wine or leave and we already felt completely ripped off, so of course we began to chug it down. Which really isnt safe and is an incredibly terrible and irresponsible position to force your customers in. I have never been kicked out of a restaurant before. A more appropriate- customer service oriented response would have been to apologize for the short time allotted in our reservation- obviously poor planning on their part- and offer a discount on our meal, a coupon for next time, a currently open seat (half the restaurant was empty) to finish our wine! There were many ways they could have facilitated having to kick us out, while treating us like deserving human beings, rather than scum. It was the worst, most super crazy rude restaurant experience I have ever had. Clearly I will never return to this restaurant and cannot recommend it to anyone else. I feel its now my duty to recommend you go anywhere else, to as many people as possible. This was the height of rudeness, an experience my friend and I will probably never forget. I am super disappointed in Pizzeria 712, their customer service and management. If you wish to be treated like a deserving human, this is not the place to go.

Lunch date with a friend Pizzeria 712 is one of those places that just makes you feel wealthy. I walked in thinking, "this is nice..." And left thinking, "yeah, I just ate there. Im that cool. The tables are spread out, the operating hours are unique, the plates and silverware are heavy... They must have just renovated the place cause I swear it only sat 10 tables... Now even more leg room! For the longest time, I was a connoisseur of margarita pizza, and Im talking real margarita pizzas... Living in Naples Italy for 18 months, you grow custom to a certain excellence for pizza... Well, my meal was a nice reminder of the good ol days! I got the Margarita Pizza. My friend chose the Mushroom Pizza. The 12 inch pizza will rightly fill one person so if youre hungry, go for the 12 inch instead of the 8. What I enjoyed most was the amount of olive oil used in the sauce and overall finish. It went well with the mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and thin crust. Definitely returning for some more. PROS: -comfortable, relaxed atmosphere (we talked for 2 hours) -quality of ingredients (it just tasted fresh... Il and when finishing I didnt feel like I was about to fall into a food coma) CONS: -the crusts of our pizzas were a little burnt.. Not enough to ruin the pizza but I didnt finish my crust because of it. SUGGESTIONS: -eh... Dont burn the crust? I really enjoyed my time there. The service was excellent! Im not a name dropper but Mariella provides great service... allowing us to talk, catch up and enjoy our meals. Our glasses were always filled and food came out quickly! Besides the burnt crust, it was near perfection.

I cant say enough good things about this place. 10/10 would recommend. We went there for the first time last night. Malorie was our server and the sweetest gal ever: she very attentive, asked questions, and seemed genuinely interested in us. I cant say enough about how great she was. The environment is nice and I love all the Brian Kershisnik art around. The menu is solid: not too big or complicated and seemed very well thought out. They brought out a very yummy, creamy hummus and some bread to begin with. We ordered the avocado toast as a starter which was yummy: very light, a little spicy and so delightful. For pizza, I had the bianco and my husband had the mushroom. The bianco was WONDERFUL! I loved the mix of cheeses they included, the crust was perfectly cooked, and the arugula on top lightened up the heavy cheese and was a perfect compliment. The mushroom pizza was also delightful and a mushroom lovers dream; seriously FULL of mushrooms from edge to edge. I ordered the prickly pear soda which tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher with the back taste giving you the prickly pear; very sweet but I enjoyed it. We didnt order any dessert, but it all looked delicious and we cant wait to come back and try some of it. The drink menu had lots of fun options. I think this place became one of my favorite places to eat from just one visit and its definitely my favorite pizza in Utah so far. Im a BIG fan and cant wait to come back!

My birthday lunch. Wednesday, 1pm. Looked forward to trying this spot. Hardly anyone there. 6 Others upon our arrival. With a almost empty restaurant we were seated less than an arms length from 2 Ladies almost finished with their lunch and very into work like discussion. With a empty place the intrusion was unfortunate and awkward.the ladies werent okay with it. They were out of many things we ordered. Romaine lettuce???? Beer choice, wine choice. We graciously, happily made new choices. Long long long wait finally informed wait person too young to serve us our drinks someone else had to come. Our rib appetizer was so good if only we had ordered several of these and called it good. But after each course they removed all eating utensils, never brought new, we asked for forks 4 times!!!! Four!!! We finally took them from other tables. salad replaced due to no romaine.had almost zero dressing. Pizza crust was seriously total salt and burnt. Grill cheese sandwitch was 90% bread. As it turned out our long awaited wine and beer was the best thing we experienced!! As we were finishing a couple came in and were sat next to us in the 2 Ladies spot. The man said, dude, theres only 2 people in here theres so many tables why put us on top OF these people enjoying their lunch? Dont even know what to think about the experience. We just shook our heads and went about the rest of my birthday day.
