After a long night of "socializing" my husband and I went looking for baked goods to sooth us into the day. The obvious answer on Laurel? Closed! The pastry display at Starbucks? We tried but couldnt bring ourselves that low. We got in the car to give up and go home and turned a corner. Lo and behold! Another bakery. We stumbled in to the cute little space and ordered a mini quiche, a raspberry muffin artfully wrapped in brown paper and a small loaf of bread from the friendly gal behind the counter. We had enjoyed most of these delicious treasures before finding Zest Bakery on Google Maps, following the link, and realizing that everything had been gluten-free. I dont know what more I can say!

LOVE this hidden little gem! What an excellent, clean, and REASONABLY PRICED spot for those with gluten allergies or vegans. I am neither of those, but still find their baked goods and sandwiches to be absolutely amazing. We came here for lunch and desserts, and they did not disappoint. Note: if you come here after noon, the stock may be reduced, but its because theyre not inflating prices like so many other gluten-free places do. People are catching on, so they me early and stock up. Hit Zest for a weekend lunch and youll be hooked!

The almond cakes are simply amazing with a cup of tea, as are the scones. The brownie cakes are divine. The house made quiche was so amazing I instantly wanted another one. Yes they are a very popular place and sometimes they sell out by mid afternoon. However this is a good thing, it means that they bake their items fresh every morning. It means that they are popular, dont punish them for that. .

Excellent 100% Gluten Free bakery with the best GF sammiches Ive ever had (my favorite is the Carmelita). I love being here and watching first-timers after theyve been told everything in the store is gluten free... they just sit there looking at all the options for delicious treats, nearly crying with happiness.

Bakery has number of allergen free items, and also they make tasty custom made Gluten free + any other allergen free cup cakes, party cake and pastry items. I love this place. I do recommend this bakery for custom made order especially when you want Egg free, nut free and sesame free cakes.

Fabulous gluten free foods. Their sandwiches are excellent. The almond cake is not cheap, but it rocks. If you have a celiac in the family, this is most certainly a place to take them. If not, come in for a sweet baked good, delicious by any standard.
