Asian bakery that have both Asian pastries like a variety flavors of moon cake (this place is popular during Moon festival and Chinese New Years), baked BBQ pork buns, taro flavored breads with colorful European style celebration cakes. Most of the baked goods - buns, moon cakes, breads are individually wrapped in cellophane bags. So you pick what you want and pay at the register. Nothing is sugar sweet. Cakes are soft airy and spongy filled with mango mousse, tiramisu, strawberry. If you are a chocoholic dont come here, the cakes (full, half, individual sized or custom) and all their baked goods are geared to the Asian palette. They also serve Peets from thermos bottles (dont expect a freshly made latte, just hot coffee).

This is a good bakery. Fulfills all your asian bakery needs. Servers and people are friendly. But the actual baked goods are lacking. If the prices were china town prices. $65 for a pineapple bun, $1 for the hot dog bun, id be fine. But these are near 85C prices, and an obvious "homage" to 85C bakery staples, at maybe a 10% discount, but 50% of the flavor. Taro buns and twist were disappointing. pineapple buns did not have the flakiness up top that I expected. Pricing reflected a much better product. Dont get me wrong, its convenient, and serves my immediate needs. But its in the bay area, I just thought itd be better. 5 stars if it were in Gilroy.

The fresh made pastries are tasty, however, the packaged ones can be stale. I bought the green tea cake roll slice, it came in a package and tasted really stale. The pineapple custard bread, on the contrary, tastes amazing. Vegetarians, watch out for the HK style Pineapple bun, it took me a while to realize the standard recipe includes lard. Its labeled in this store, but not necessarily in other Chinese bakeries.

A Taiwanese bakery with delicious treats! Try the egg tarts, theyre delicious. The Portuguese egg tarts are even better in my opinion. You can also find many types of moon cakes, assorted breads, and delicious Taiwanese authentic tasting pineapple cakes (鳳梨酥) here.

Good local bakery Asian style, with all the usual breads and cakes. Recently remodeled and much nicer layout now. Nowhere to sit except a few outdoor tables.
