샌프란시스코 공항 근처에 숙박하며 Yelp로 검색하다 우연히 들르게 된 곳, 완전한 감동입니다. 간만에 한국에서 먹던 그 맛을 경험하게 되어 그럴지도 모른다는 주관적판단을 전제하더라도, Sacramento의 Aura 오라라는 한국 식당과 비교하면 (왜냐하면 방문한 곳이 고작 두 곳입니다) 확연히 맛의 차이가 나기 때문입니다. 오라는 맛을 흉내 내긴 했으나 헤프다라고 느껴질만큼 김치나 김치찌게, 오삼불고기 등등에서 전반적으로 기본 양념 고추장, 물엿 맛이 너무 많이나 맛은 평균이었습니다. 그러나 K.Grill에서는 김치든 기본 7첩 반찬이든 전반적인 맛이 깔끔하고 좋습니다. 김치는 젓갈이 잘 숙성된 맛이었고, 저녁 반찬으로 나온 조기구이 포함 7첩 반찬들도 헤프지도 그렇다고 야박하지 않은 양념과 양이었습니다.MSG조미료 첨가여부는 두 음식점 모두 평가에 넣지 않았습니다 저도 이미 그 맛에 길들여져 있을지도 모른다는 점을 감안해서...

Tofu House is a surprisingly good find for Korean food among the stretch of restaurants in downtown San Bruno. You start the meal with a generous variety of entrees ( ban chans / side dishes ), including a side of tenderly fried fish for every one. The rice are exquisitely served in traditional Korean wooden serving bowls. There are lunch and dinner prices on the menu, but theyre more references for sizes than time of the day. ( We got a dinner serving of combo soup to share for lunch ). Galbi (Korean beef short ribs) - perfectly marinated and seasoned, best dish of the meal Combo soup - comes in different level of spiciness, served steaming hot Jap chea ( Korean noodles ) - great texture but slightly underseasoned Service was quick and friendly, and we left more than contented. Friend joked that the portion is so generous that we could just get rice next time and snack on all the side dishes.

4.5 stars Probably the best galbi I’ve had in the bay! I’m gonna be honest and admit that I actually don’t eat much Korean food in the bay, to my point, it was really good! We came here upon a recommendation that the galbi was really good and wanted to try it for ourselves and it totally did not disappoint. I don’t want to think about how much oil they use to make this dish, but it would definitely be worth a cheat day. It was super tender and was packed with flavor. YUM! We also go the budae jiigae (it’s like a Korean hot pot with soup and a ton of stuff and noodles) and it was good too, but not as good as the galbi. Overall, the food was good, but I would definitely come back for the galbi. And this is the only place that I know of that has a fried fish in the free appetizer dishes!

서비스 친절하고요. 부대찌개가 일품입니다... 한국에서도 부대찌개 장사를 하셨었다고 하더군요. 솔직히 한국에서 먹은 부대찌개보다도 맛있었습니다. 돼지목살 소금구이도 정말 맛있습니다. 반찬도 푸짐하고요 (한사람당 조기 한마리씩), 밥도 돌솥밥입니다. 개인적으로는 베이지역 전체를 통틀어 (산호세 포함) 여기가 제일 맛있습니다. 강추합니다.

It felt like I was in a Korean drama when I was dining here last night. There was a very homely vibe as I watched the ajuumas greet their regular customers. Most of the other tables ordered a Budae Jjigae so our table did too...and Im glad we did! The 2-person size was more than enough for our table of 5 since we also wanted tofu stews and Galbi. However, as some of the other reviewers have stated, the tofu stew is a bit bland so I recommend sticking with the Budae Jjigae. They also have these cute little macaron ice cream for $4.50 each..it was a great way to end the meal.

Would I come back: If I was in the area and craving Korean meats. Value: While a bit pricier, the food quality is really good and quite fresh. One dish comes with quite a few sides as is the norm in Korean restaurants. The Good: Food, quickness of service and the fact that lots of locals looked to be eating there. The Bad: At first the server did not seem as friendly but I think that was mainly because of a language / cultural barrier. They became more friendly later on. Bath/Rest/Wash-rooms: Clean(ish) as is wont in Asian places.

Much better, friendlier service than other tofu pot restaurants in the area. Rice served in individual pots is nice, but takes lots of room on small tables. However, these individual pots give you rice that is perfectly crisped on the bottom, giving you an extra textural sensation that goes well with hot tofu soup. Asked if I can pay and add ramen to individual tofu pot, but was denied. Ramen only comes with large monster pots for 2 or more people (see pics others have posted). Disappointed.

Great food and service. Took my parents to the restaurent this past Sunday. The line is a bit long and we waited for about 20 minuites. We ordered beef and intestine stew and it is really delicious. The only bone to pick is that it is a bit too spicy. My dad and I were looking for napkins to blow our noses because its too spicy. And we asked for mild spicy!!! The rice and little dishes are also good!

This is my goto place for budae jjage (spicy stew with sausage, spam, ramen, rice cake, etc on a portable stove). When we first discovered this place a year or two ago, there were no wait and well be the only table ordering the stew. Now theres usually at least a 30 minutes wait during prime dinner time, and you will see almost every table with boiling stew.

Amazing Korean food that usually had no wait. My wife and I visit here whenever we have a craving to leave the city and catch a good meal. The banchan at this place includes a small fish along with the many normal dishes youd expect. Great food and great service. I usually order the dolsot bibimbap or bulgogi while my wife gets the tofu soup.

미국와서 이렇게 맞있는 부대찌개는 처음인것같아요. 주인 아주머니의 자상한 서비스도 마치 한국에 간것같은 느낌이 들더군요. 돌솥밥에 만들어주신 누룽지맛 최고예요.

The tofu soup here is great! Yum. They also give you a grilled mackerel along with the typical side dishes. Service can be a bit slow if they are busy since there is usually just one or two workers. But the people are awesome and super friendly.

Best tofu soup that Ive had in the Peninsula! Big chunks of meat, well seasoned kimchi, and really delicious broth. The kalbi, however, was just so-so. Still, overall, a solid meal. 5 stars for Korean food in the Bay Area.

My wife and I came here for dinner. We order roe and combo soup. Both are overcooked, beef was hard to chew, same with roe. Sauce is bland, nothing special.
