FOOD and SERVICE HORRIBLE!!! The bread was so stale that it crumbled while you tried to eat it, we were never once offered refills!! When we were paying the owner asked us how our meal was and politely we suggested to use fresh bread, well the RUDE owner indicated that there was nothing he could do for us WOW, ok at that point I then recommended that they NOT clean with BLEACH while customers are trying to eat, as the smell was burning my nose and throat, not to mention my 6 mth old grandson was breathing this as well!!!! So the owner charged my CC $28.32 and told us to never come back! I am amazed how he can still operate a business with that kind of RUDENESS>>>> DO NOT EAT HERE he does not deserve to serve the people of our neighborhood ever!

Service was actually nice, a little slow, but from there on it ends aburptly. I took a good 15 minutes to get my food which was an extremely small cup(to go sauce cup) of severely overcooked pasta salad, and a reuben sandwich with only one layer of meat on it. one. Overall it tasted well but if youre going to charge 11.50 for a sandwich. At least put some meat on it and give a decent sized side. Would give 2 stars but the only review with 5 opposed to 1 is obviously by the owners

Went at lunch time. The restaurant was not full. It took us 25 minutes to get our food, and the omelette they served me was so burned I didnt even recognize it as an omelette. I sent it back and it took another 25 minutes to get the new one. To add insult to injury, we were overcharged when we cashed out.

Service is HORRIBLE!!! I came here on my lunch break. Our server was RUDE, he made me feel like I had to rush and pick something to eat. But not after 30 minutes later he tells us that they ran out of the bread for our sandwiches, I walked out because I was 45 minutes into my lunch WITHOUT any lunch to eat!

Rainbows End has a new owner as of about six months ago or so. Really nice people and they are keeping the place really clean. The menu has been retained with little change and they are doing a great job. Very good food and fresh. We love their "Sacramento Smoked" turkey sandwich. Give it a try!

Good service and happy servers. Prices about what youd expect for a cafe of this size. The sandwiches were good, and the food decently portioned. My only complaint is that they dont accept tips on a card, only cash. Sometimes I dont go because I dont have any cash on hand.

The food & service feels like youre at a good relatives house, home cooked freshness & flavor and hospitality to match. The only reason I didnt give a full 5 stars is because there were at least 2 flies pestering us while eating during this last visit.

Great sandwiches! Maybe a little uninspired/old school but in a tired way but what they make is good. Brandy is awesome! They dont have room for more than 4 per table though. You CAN put an extra chair on the end if theres one available though.

Have been here twice recently for breakfast and the service was quick, the breakfasts were delicious and the portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The link sausages were really flavorful.

Ive been coming here for years and I just have to say the food and service went down hill when Mona sold it. I used to bring my whole family here and now I avoid recommending it to anyone.

Rude manger, salad lettuce was obviously bad, took forever to get service and food. the only person that was nice and polite was the employee there since mona owned it.
