I was so excited to of found this place. Love the atmosphere. Outside sitting area is awesome and I like their drinks. Unfortunately the service has been horrible to a point of being unable to ignore. everyone is entitled to a bad day, so i gave them many chances. Even thought if I was overwhelmingly friendly they would have to be as well. Didnt work. Even tried tipping, thinking that would change their attitude- NOPE. The girls behind the counter dont say hi, or anything at all for that matter. Just stare till you order with a demeanor of being annoyed. Ive asked questions and had them roll their eyes. Even said thank you for my coffee to the woman who made it (who was standing right infront of me) and she didnt look up or even flinch. I have got my order wrong and was told "well I didnt hear you say that" and they did NOT fix the mistake. SO BADLY wanted to like this place. Gave them about 10 chances. I didnt need to be impressed but would have been happy with just normal. they were rude every time! Im done trying.

This is a small jewel on D St. In Marysville. The aptly named "The Brick" is a breakfast lunch cafe with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. Its small, warm and cozy with an array of baked goods at the counter and coffees. The menu features short order breakfast and lunch items you order at the counter which will be brought to your table. I thoroughly enjoyed our Mothers Day brunch here. Not crowded or rushed and reasonably priced its a small gem located on a downtown street that doesnt offer much else worthwhile.

This facility is beautiful. It is right out of a small town picture book. It is one of those cafes Id like to operate one day. Unfortunately, the staff was not welcoming. I expected more from a small town business. I thought theyd welcome visitors, but apparently we only made them upset. I felt like I was in New York City (horrible customer service). So we ordered tea and left. This place is so cute, I wish my experience was different.

My first coffee shop I ever went to when I moved here. I love the environment and the decor. It is especially my favorite when it rains! You can look out the old school windows and feel like your in another place. The garden is beautiful and welcoming and the owner is always so kind. I will keep coming here for sure! I have also had business meetings here and they are very accommodating to large groups.

I really want to like this place, but I cant. The atmosphere is great, and the patio is beautiful. I dont mind a limited menu or restricted kitchen hours, but the prices are too high for the quality of food, and the chef cant make an exception for a breakfast order that comes in four minutes after the menu switches to lunch. Ive given this place a lot of second chances, now Ive given up.

Visiting the area (originally from here) stopped in to get a coffee. The place has great atmosphere. I thought I would try the biscuits and gravy. Why not...right! They were great. Ordered a vanilla latte, it was ok. I was hoping for higher quality for the espresso. Im glad to see great businesses like this in Marysville. Next time Ill order more breakfast.

Staff is always friendly and food is great! Tasty baked goods try the fried pork chops when they have them. I always get a large iced coffee which is a bucket of coffee! I will drive here from Browns Valley just for a brownie. The brownies are the size of a brick and are hands down the best brownies in Yuba county.

They have 2 drinks I love to order. The Gold Rush, and a peanut butter one. This place is so damn cute, you can drink coffee outside, or stay inside, quick service, and great food to eat. Go and enjoy this really cute place inside and outside.

I Love the food! But the people behind the counter are terribly rude, I said something about it one day and they actually ganged up on me like I was out of line, a when I told the owner he just kind of chuckled.

Soups are always on point. I cant find better breakfast in Yuba city or Marysville than here. It Can get a little crowded when its busy but they have a nice patio if u like eating outside.

Staff was amazing. They were patient with our large group and were very helpful with all our questions. Amazing place to stop by for some coffee and food in a laid back and warm setting.

They have good food, better coffee then Starbucks and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff are normally friendly, however are understandably less so when the place is packed at times.

The coffee and oatmeal cookie were both very good! It was probably the first time an oatmeal cookie tasted like oatmeal! Definitely would come back next time Im in the area.

Great coffee, pastries, and food. Great service in the morning on weekdays, weekends can sometimes be a little less personal. Overall my favorite locally-owned coffee shop.

Great place for brunch on a Sunday morning. Cute outside seating area. Can be crowded during rush times, but the food is always worth it and service is prompt and friendly.

Good eats, quality coffee, but they use fewer shots in their drinks and are more expensive than Starbucks. I expected much better value from a small town cafe.

I love this place for lunch. Every time I go here I am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. And the brownie is literally the size of a brick...and amazing

Bad customer service, high prices, crappy espresso, and hours of operation are a joke. Great old building though.
