Ive been twice to events at Downtown & Vine and there is only one thing to say - YUMMY WINE! The first time I went for a wine makers luncheon with Michael Mondavi. The food and wine were spectacular, and he was friendly, informative, interesting - a perfect lunch companion for the group assembled. Last week I went for their wine education launch - again great people, great wine, great food. Every day they offer a wine class at 2pm. Most days at 2 pm I should be working, but I think Ill play hooky now and again. If youre looking for a great wine bar, or wine tasting or even a place to ship the wine you buy in Napa or the foothills, this is your place.
