My friend and I wanted to try something new yesterday evening so I made a reservation in advance for a booth inside or table outside. Upon arrival, and seeing no hostess station, I asked the bartender where I should sit. By his annoyed expression, I could tell he would have preferred I didnt bother him but rather reluctantly and rudely showed me outside (no table reserved there) and then brought me back inside where I was told to seat myself. Service was fairly slow although there were only two busy tables inside. Our server was nice at times but when I asked for 1000 island dressing for my salad he said I should have mixed up the dressing I was given better. After offering us cracked pepper for my salad and my friends chowder (which we gladly accepted), he then left and never came back. We waited patiently to start our meals, only to see him wander about the restaurant, obviously forgetting about us. At that point, we had had enough. I went to the bar to pay for the meal. No one asked why we were leaving with food untouched or asked if there was anything to do to make it right. The server walked by, saw we were leaving and said "great." The highlight of the evening was hearing one of the wait staff yell, "good riddance!" as we left. Classy! We finished up our evening at Ellas and had a great time.

I thought Id take a chance with a hot date and try the Blue Prynt... Wow!!! Better than I was expecting! We started with two extraordinary salads... amazing dressings. She... a most lovely and sophisticated creature, had the swordfish with polenta and asparagus. I had the half chicken/half artichoke with chips. The swordfish was as tender and moist as could be. (She allow me a taste.) Knocked my sock socks off!!! The chicken was flavorful and tender as could be! Chicken?!! The spices are secret, of course, but the flavor was perfect. Ive never had better. We splurged (calorie wise) and split (one dessert, two spoons) the Baked Alaska... superb... Hummm... An excellent dinner! Two glasses of wine, two salads, two main courses and dessert.. $65 Three thumbs up! Con: The Booth seats are so soft and deep I nearly bashed my chin on the table top... ask for a table and chair.... unless youre in six foot six plus category...

I came in tonight for a quick refreshment and appetizer at the local watering hole. Theres this really nice Chinese Bar Tender that made me feel right at home (sorry, I couldnt catch her name due to the volume of the people around me). She was professional, pleasing to the eyes, proficient at mixology and courteous. I used to do bar investigations for extra pesos in my Private Investigator days... I was totally impressed with this young woman! She recommended happy hour munchies that were spot on, could carry a conversation while showing off her seasoned mixology skills. I tell you what, if I owned a bar, I would hire her at double whatever they are paying her here! I recommend this place for A) Employee Quality, B) Good Happy Hour Food, and C) Quality Poured Drinks, and D) The good vibe atmosphere... Bravo to the Management... for knowing how to run a successful Blue Prynt of Good Business!

Comfortable, colorful, intimate, multi-level restaurant with a full bar. Our waitress, Alexa, is knowledgeable, cheerful and incredibly efficient. The house baked bread contains egg. Cucumber water is serve with the meal. The chef prepared an off menu vegan pasta dish with fire-roasted veggies in an olive oil and red pepper sauce. My partner ordered the skirt steak, with roasted finger potatoes and fresh sauteed green beans. Both meals were delicious. An elevator is available to the second floor banquet room. Wheelchair accessible including bathrooms. Free, easy parking.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure in downtown Sacramento. The food was delicious and at a resonable price. The bar is stocked with everything. The staff and service was top notch. I will be frequenting this establishment more often in the future.

Cozy feel, although it seems much of the restaurant went unused. Happy hour on the weekdays was not very well advertised, BUT, the drinks were still cheap and service was quick and friendly.

We had our company Christmas party there in 2014. They did such a great job! Food was delicious, they had decorated everything and we had the whole downstairs to ourselves! Great staff!

This place rules. Smooth. Really smooth. Perfect ambience. Some darn good cocktails. Think Pub meets classy CA joint, but subtract the douchy CA crowd that youre always trying to avoid.
