This place has gone through fits and starts but fortunately it has been getting better lately...largely because Whiskey Wild down the way shut down and theres way less of the Ed Hardy Affliction crowd overflow spilling into this place on the weekends. pretty diverse crowd of punks, thugs, college kids, blue collar, white collar, club kids, etc. bartenders are on point and pour a decent drink. Not a bad place to meet someone if you got game. Bonus points for letting the graffiti tags flourish in the bathroom and out back. Adds a bit of a Bay Area vibe that is very appreciated by us transplants.

Of course its divey but for me its my Cheers. Only place I can show up after work once s month and the bartender knows my name and my drink hits the bar before I even ask. None of that even brings in the fact that now I can get delicious Thai food for lunch now. As a friend put out recently its basically like coming home (well of your home was a friendly dive bar).

The staff, the owners, the kitchen Piag... Omg.. Everything is amazing.. Love this place.. Never pretentious always chill and the food... The food... Piag.. Kills it... From bar food to Thai noodles... Im dying for her food! Add the amazing service and the fab food. Super affordable... Cant lose- bartenders are great- this is #1 A+++ spot!!!

Bennys or Q street bar, whatever you wanna call it, is an awesome place to wind down after a long day. Strong drinks and amazing people. A definite must visit for first time Sacto visitors or residence. Also, not just bar food, the Thai is off the hook. Drunken Noodles are amazing for someone that can handle some Thai spice. Enjoy!!!

The food didnt look very good and my friends seemed to think it was merely adequate. I can think of dozens of bars I would rather drink at, although I guess it has cleaned up a bit compared to the drug den brawl factory it was a decade or two ago

The best of the dives. Beautiful people work and frequent this little hole in the wall, every visit is entertaining and some even illuminating. The patrons here are the best in sac and the bartenders are genuinely cool.

Great food! If you want to just stop in for a quickie and a cocktail the bartenders are nice and courteous I suggest you tried if youre ever in that particular area.
