The place was pretty cool and I used to go there a lot because theres usually a lot of people, pool tables and they have giant connect-4. However between 12-1 AM on 08/21/2016 when my friends and I stopped by, we werent allowed in because they were going to stop letting people in to get ready to close up or something which was fine with us. As my friends and I start to contemplate where we would walk to next, some dude attempts to break into the bar, I pull my phone out to film the incident (im on the sidewalk at least 3 feet away from the fencing) and I am met with a security/employee with a Republic bar & Grill T-shirt who literally threatens to "break my face" multiple times because I was filming, as im leaving he made a rude comment about my nose. It was pretty unprofessional and very illegal (California Penal Code Section 422.6 MISD/Felony) I was doing nothing wrong and this has never happened to me anywhere else in downtown Sacramento. Dont go here unless you want to be intimidated for exercising your rights.

If you feel like getting raped this is your place to go. I got charged 34.00 for two red bull & vodka. I asked the guy with the black hoody if he was the owner who charged me 34.00 MF dollars for two daaaaamn drinks. He said "yes". Found out hes not the the owner. Lying piece of shiiiet. His co-worker Anthony did nothing and just let the rape happen. Dont come here. Im putting a hex on this place and I hope you fail and shutdown for guys you hire to charge 17 dollars a drink. Thats worst than SF prices. 17 dollars is what I expect to pay in Vegas. Your shiiiet hole is NOT VEGAS !!!

-$6 well drinks w/dried out limes -$1 per play basketball arcade game -Time Crisis game is unplayable due to faulty equipment -Tap beer is OK, betting the beer lines never get changed on a proper schedule (this is pretty standard at any bar though) -Waited almost 5 minutes trying to make eye contact with a bartender to get a drink, while bartenders hung out on one side of the bar goofing off. - Lots of TVs so its a good place to watch games, but Id love to see someone else take over the space and do it up nice.

Positive is that they have their own parking lot, nice staff who know how to make drinks and if you are looking for a big crowd this place fills up quick to about 60 ppl only bad thing is 2 Sometimes 3 bartenders trying to keep up with so many ppl needing a drink, best to order big to avoid the wait. Bouncer is a cool dude too. And they need one as the later the night goes on the more grown ppl turn into babys that need a sitter. Bars are for drinking and these patrons really come to drink.

Bad staff, annoying regulars. Was told kitchen was closed @ 7PM (should remove grill from title). Womans bathroom stunk like a broken sewage pipe. When staff was informed they gave attitude about it. Games were poorly kept and pool cues had no tips. Had a bad experience here as well couple years ago and decided to give it another chance. It got worse somehow.

I guarded the door of the mens bathroom for a lady I just met at the end of the long ladies bathroom line. They kicked me out but "she" got to stay... It felt a little biased to me.... My first instinct about the bar was correct.

Full bar. More of a college crowd. Has some pool tables, a few arcade games, and a giant connect 4 which is awesome lol also has a smoking patio. Overall its a pretty cool place and would recommend to check it out.

Nice bar to chill in. Prices were average, and service was good. They have a few pool tables, two skee balls, and a basketball tossing game for some additional fun. Loads of TVs which was great.

Fairly empty on Thursday night but the staff was friendly and the Angry Orchard was good. Theyve got some entertainment available such as a pool table and a foosball table.
