I never review places here on Google, but I googled "Village Pizza" looking for their menu so I could place a delivery order and was extremely surprised to see the negative reviews so I felt compelled to rebut as others have. As a side note, after reading the bad reviews here, I also realized the reviewers are probably talking about a store up the street and not Village Pizza. Their food is very reasonably priced, both the owner and people working there have always been friendly and polite and warm, and the food is surprisingly good and fresh for a local Pizza place. Ive had their pastas, ordered pizza and sandwiches for delivery at our office often, and have never had a bad or shady experience there. The first week or so they were open they put mustard on their BLTs (OMG!!), but they stopped that horrible and saddening practice after that first week, and thats the bulk of my complaints food-wise in probably 20+ ? 30+? orders since theyve opened. To make a long review longer, not shady, not low quality, extremely clean, well priced, carefully made food that really isnt the horrific overcooked mushy sloppy stuff found in other places offering similar menus locally. Bring family, enjoy their food with confidence, ignore the review here that is horrible as it seems to be about a place I wont name, but wont go to either.

Very very disappointing. Was the first and last time there. Pizza too fat. The cheese was so oily. The dough was unstated. I ask cheese basil extra sauce. I get look and taste like frozen pizza. 18 for a médium one topping. No way. Cet endroit est très mauvais. Ce fut ma première et dernière fois. Le fromage était très huileux et sans gouts. Bref du bas de gamme. A éviter à tout prix et le prix trop dispendieux. 18 pour une pizza moyenne a un gout tres douteux.

I was quite stunned at the review posted prior to mine- Seems like it was written by someone that hasnt been to Village Pizza. I frequent this restaurant often (about 2-3 times a week) The food is great! Every dish Ive ordered was well made and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The girls at the front are very sweet and professional, service is fine- its not a full service restaurant! The service doesnt have to be impeccable. The restaurant is very clean- never had a problem. I dont usually post reviews, but I simply had to for Village Pizza- especially as a rebuttal to the prior review. Ive taken friends and family to this place and all gave it a two thumbs up!

Came in for a quik bite Listened to an AMAZING JAZZ PLAYER NEXTDOOR. SAX EXCELLENT. TIPPED HIM VIDEO TAPED HIM. READY FOR PIZZA... NOT EXPECTING THIS AMAZING PIZZA. DONE PERFECTLY. VERY QUICKLY ALSO. IT WAS SO GOOD ,...WE EACH ORDERED ANOTHER BY THE SLICE. GREAT CRUST AS WELL. NICE ATMOSPHERE. FRIENDLY STAFF. CAME FRI AROUND10:15 pm. Fav Pizza Place now at REDONDO BEACH. A MUST TRY. I was surprised to see a new pizza place so close to padones (which WAS a local favorite). I think Rivera village pizza is going to give the competition a run for its money. The facility was super clean, open, and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant to interact with. The food.... Oh man was it delicious! I couldnt believe they put whole cloves of roasted garlic on my pizza! Whole cloves!!! It was really good, nice flavor, and great ranch dressing. Go here.

I dont understand the negative reviews regarding the owner and staff members. They are genuinely very nice people and I have always been welcomed warmly. The items I have ordered have been awesome. The subs are served on the best bread I have found locally; fresh and crusty. The meatball, pastrami, veggie and Italian cold cut have been exceptional, and the soups are amazing. Try the Tomato Bisque or the Potato soup. Highly recommended.

this place has great food and awesome service, but there seems to be a lot of shady business going on there. the owner tends to go through many girls at the front- who usually dont last more than a month... which leads me to believe something fishy is going on. i love this place but i am skeptical in supporting a fishy business.

the bbq chicken pizza was super oily ! didnt sound like the cheese fat, something more like adding extra oil on the pizza, the BBQ sauce was badly sweet, never go back there!
