Prova is Italy in West Hollywood! True authentic Vito Iacopelli style pizza! From the Ovens authenticity; doughs crispy chewy texture; use of superior guality ingredients! The cheese pull on these slices are phenomenal! Bite a slice see for yourself! In this town where you can throw your martini olive in any direction from the bar your in and hit a pizza place! I went several times and Ill keep going not only because is a great REAL italian pizza but also fast and affordable if you consider that all the ingredients are genuine and imported from Italy. There is a way to have healthy pizza, go to Prova to forget about all the misconceptions that "american" styles made pizzas brought, carbsn fatty foods. Not here, youll digest it in minutes, consider Italians eat pizzas and pastas almost daily, even twice a day and theres not as many fat issues as here....go figure.... Go to Prova!

The Pizza is a little pricey than any of the other place nearby -but you get what you pay for. Its high quality pizza and vastly different from the others. The ingredients are top notch and the menu pizzas are very creatively thought out and carefully executed. If youre in not feeling like the typical grab and go pizzas this place is perfect.

I tried the Prova Signature pizza. Its an encapsulating crust type of pizza. There is just enough sauce and cheese and meat so that it takes an effort to chew. Its not a soggy oozing mess. The dough tastes great and it is wood fired. I would recommend this place if you want to eat pizza and not feel disgusted with yourself afterwards.

I wouldve given it 5 stars but the calzone only had the delicious meat, cheese, etc in the middle section and nothing but bread in the end pieces...Im not Italian so maybe thats how its so supposed to be? However the dough was amazing! Staff was friendly, restaurant itself was clean but bathroom was a mess.

Amazing, authentic pizza. Thin crust, ingredients all from Italy and made to order. Menu is a little off putting, but dont let that stop you. I use the listed pizzas as a starter and request the added ingredients on top of that. Havent had pizza this good since my last trip to Brooklyn.
