A male employee was in the bathroom with my 9 year old daughter. My daughter went to use the ladies room, an employee was in there cleaning & DID NOT LEAVE. My daughter not knowing any better went into a stall & did her business, she exited the bathroom & the male employee followed her out. We spoke to manager FRANK who said "what do you want me to do about it?" "He could have been in the mens room, I wasnt there"!! No understanding, no empathy, he simply dismissed us as if we were lying to him. I WATCHED A MALE EMPLOYEE EXIT THE WOMENS REST ROOM SECONDS AFTER MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. My daughter verified, the employee was in the adjacent handicap stall WHILE SHE WAS USING THE RESTROOM. This manager has NO UNDERSTANDING as to WHY THIS IS A PROBLEM, he treated us as if we were somehow in the wrong. It seems clear to me & anyone with a young female child why this is an issue!! As far as this manager was concerned, the word of his 19-25 yr old obviously untrained employee is more reliable than patrons of his business for over 20 years. We are outraged.

Great spot...We love the Patio that looks out on Old Poway Park! I guess my wife and I are "Regulars" for breakfast for sure. The food is always great...Try Country Benedict... the service is always fantastic! All the servers really take good care of us, Juan is a Super Star and he remembers the exact details of our special requests. Prior to us even sitting down, he is on his way with our, "Coffee with special creamer, Ice Tea and Larger OJ"... When take our Mothers in sometimes and he makes her feel extra special...our adult Children and Grand Kids always look forward to meeting us at Hamburger Factory. Cheers to the Hamburger Factory Team for a job well done!!

The food was not fresh, and this fact came out in the taste. The chorizo had the bitterness I always taste in chorizo that is old. The blueberry waffles had an odd taste, like the blueberries had some sort of weird artificial flavoring. The whipped cream was the cheap kind from the can. I couldnt finish my food, I took a few bites of each thing, enough to know it was awful, and left the rest. This restaurant had all the characteristics of a cheap waffle joint, but priced like it was a nice breakfast place. The waiter was very good. The atmosphere was quiet, which I enjoyed, and it wasnt overcrowded like a cheap breakfast joint at least.

I have been going here for many years. Last night I ordered a British Burger which was very soggy and the burger just fell apart. I ask the server for several napkins and told her I had to use fork and knife to eat it? She seem not to concern about the large pile of slop on the plate? I can not believe I still left a tip. When leaving, I ask for a commit card but was told they do not have them. I told her that was fine, I will take the time to post a review on line. I do not think I will go back even though I have not had a bad experience before this.

We wanted a great weekend night out meal and were sadly disappointed. The philly had meat full of fat and sinew rather than lean shaved beef and I had to leave most of it on my plate. The bbq pork sandwich was adequate but nothing outstanding. I guess we should have just paid 9 bucks per burger and gotten the same thing we could get anywhere. Oh well, we gave it a shot. Poway needs a good alternative to this place for the money charged. Shame, the location in the old poway park is sweet. Get new chef and revamp the menu!!

Dave just catered my wedding on May 15th and did an absolute AMAZING JOB! I had so many comments from the guests that it was by far the best "wedding food" they had ever had. Dave also used his experience to suggest ideas for the wedding and when the tables (from a different vendor) showed up late, his staff helped put them together quickly! He also kept a keg of beer cold for us and cut and served the cake at NO CHARGE! Over all I couldnt have picked a better caterer for one of the most important days of my life!

The service was very good. Onion rings were great. Now comes the not so good results of the other things we ordered. My hamburger patty was gray and mushy. Coleslaw was just average at best. The diet cokes were stale and watered down. Fish and chips not too good. The fries were limp and greasy. The fish portions were small and at best warm , not hot and tasty. (bland) .

As Volunteers at the PMRRV, it is a tradition for us to go to the HF every weekend at 12:00 ish. This a great restaurant to eat at. The surroundings of the restaurant make you feel like youre inside a antique shop full of surprises and old things. The food is slow in the morning, but during lunch and dinner, this is a good family restaurant to eat at! Just a tad pricy thought.

Cozy, local, delicious, great people, and great vibes. What more could you want? Ive lived in Poway for almost my whole life and this is the Hamburger Factory lies at the heart of the town. I will never be tired of eating here. For a homey feeling, stop by and dont forget to look up to see what wacky costume the local bear is wearing for the season.

I have been eating at the Hamburger Factory for many years. It is my favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch. Like any restaurant you have to find the menu items that appeal to your particular taste. I like hot so the Branding Iron hamburger and the Jalapeno Ranch dressing are my Favorites. I put Jalapeno ranch dressing on, just about, everything.

This place is probably one of my new favorite breakfast spots (they serve lunch and dinner too). Their prices are probably some of the best I have seen when compared with other local restaurants. Their western decor and the size of the restaurants makes it easy for anyone to be seated quickly. A+ P.S- The surrounding area is a plus!

Really enjoy the comfort food. Chicken fried steak is good and tender, mashed potatoes yummy with authentic country gravy. Spicy smoked sausage with slaw was great. The dollar sundaes are great for a small taste of ice cream. Prices are not bad. It is a historical Poway landmark, and is famous for its hamburgers.

This place is great if you want a quirky, rustic atmosphere and yummy milk shakes. Family oriented, with a friendly staff. The hamburgers however are nothing special. The food knocks this place down from the 4 stars I wanted to give it. But Ive heard the breakfast is definitely good, so I might try it again.

I first visited the Hamburger Factory in July of 2015, the food was delicious the workers were the most curtious and friendlist people that you will ever meet, they will make you feel right at home. I RECOMMEND The Hamburger Factory Family Restuarant. ***** A FAMILY FRIENDLY ESTABLISHMENT.

The food is ok. Nothing really special but not bad either. The service however is terrible. I am writing this in the restaurant right now. I havent seen the waitress in 20 or more minutes. I just want to pay and leave. Zero sense of urgency from anyone in this place. Overall... meh
