The woman who runs this place is verbally abusive and not just to me, look others reported same experience, I literally was harrassed by the old lady who runs the place because I asked her not to put much cheese on my salad and my lady friend asked for no onions, of couse when I told her she said I didnt deserve to eat anywhere public and she said she didnt like my face and called me an obscenity. This place is NO GOOD, and SHE is RUDE! I am not joking folks , this place sucks big time.

Heard this was the BEST Greek food in San Diego, had to try it. Not only is it the best Greek food in the County, the family that runs the place are the best people! Family-style atmosphere, great service, and the food is delicious. Favorites are the DOLMADAKIA and PAIDAKIA SKARAS. Their GYROS sandwich is a very filling and perfectly tasty lunch meal. You must go! Say hi to Rita!

My children and I have been visiting this place since 2007. This is the best Greek food served with a smile in San Diego. You must try the traditional lemon chicken soup (Avgo-lemono) and everything else is amazing too. You will see this same family serving food at the annual Greek festival in Encinitas as well.

Great food, really nice staff, very pleasant owner who always takes our order and chats with us. Shes very accommodating with special requests and couldnt be a better host. They have lots of regulars which says something about the food and service. Weve been going there for years.....never disappointed.

A bit pricey, food mediocre, but the thing that really irked me was the 75 cent charge for every extra tzatziki sauce in a tiny condiment cup! If I would have known, I would have used the $3 tip to get extra tzatziki sauce for my carry out order. Wont be going again.

My favorite Greek restaurant! An authentic, family-run place. With a wide variety of Greek dishes. They make their own delicious desserts, too! We come here for many family celebrations and were always warmly welcomed.

Good food for family recipes. The servers seem to be family members and the place is very inviting. The soup was salty but good. The moussaka was good, but not too flavorful. The price reflects the portion size.

Young lady should never be their greeter. Leaves bad impression. Food is very bad and terribly over priced.owner is nice but that didnt make up for every thing else. Save your time and money.
