Ive been here several times and the food and service have been great every time. They also do take out orders, and the first time I tried that I was worried the quality would suffer, but I was wrong. Its just as good at home as at the restaurant. Careful about parking, especially on busy days. The parking lot usually has spaces, but when downtown is busy, it can fill up fast. Try parking on the streets to the west - they have 90 minute parking for free, and you can usually park within a block or so. My personal favorite is the fettuccini with prawns and scallops. Good wine list too.

but two nights ago we were extremely miserable sitting at our table with the sun beating down on us. Literally half the restaurant is consumed by the blazing sun for two hours, til finally the sun moves past the diners at 7:00 pm. Even the chef was miserable as she was literally squinting into her work. It made it very hard for her to judge the temperature of my fillet as it came out med and was ordered med rare. The server was very kind but the owner wasnt happy about it and chef was stressed.

What a wonderful experience! Wait staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Ambiance was warm and inviting and the food was the best Ive had in a long time. Eight of us in our group and each one raved over our dishes. We couldnt wait to try each others selections; scrumptious. My new favorite! The restaurant was packed but we never felt rushed in any way after our desserts were served. Will be going there again, soon. Lucille Inman

value! really very good food served in a contemporary setting at a reasonable price makes this an easy choice with the family or on a date. the interior is a bit cold and noisy with the cement floors and high ceilings but overall its fine. the food got a very good from me, the pasta is excellent, the bruschetta and salads very good and you dont need to try the four secondis (chicken, salmon, whatever). a hustling wait staff serves it hot!

Our waitress was excellent and the style of the restaurant is very stylish, yet still inviting. My only issue is that I wasnt so impressed with the Gorgonzola gnocchi I ordered. The texture was great, but the flavor was pretty bland. Im usually a salad girl, but a big sucker for home made gnocchi and I couldnt resist. Im sure if I got the salad Id be rating this place 5/5.

Delicious Food, fantastic service - Jody made excellent suggestions and gave excellent descriptions when we asked for her help deciding. The fettuccini Alfredo was utterly amazing -which I never thought Id say about any Alfredo! We will be back the next time were in Petaluma!

The decor is unpretentious, artistic elegance, black and white movie projected on the wall; service attentive but subtle; the food so good we all wanted to lick the plates! Incredibly reasonable. The pork chop and the chocolate mousse alone might be worth a drive from SoCal.

Sugo has some of the best Italian food in Petaluma. Their spaghetti and meatballs is fantastic. They also make some really good bruschetta. I recommend stopping by Sugo if you arent pressed for time but are in the mood for some great food.

Always great food, always great service, always a table available within 20 minutes and the wine selection is fantastic, especially since one can buy a glass and a half of wine at once. Risotto is often on the menu and cooked perfectly.

The food is fantastic and the service is always great. The dont take reservations past 6, so prepare to wait a little bit. The bruschetta is a must!!! Cool ambiance - they sometimes play classic movies on the wall. Great date spot.
