We had some of the best Italian food at Divino that we have yet tried on the peninsula. And yet somehow the meal was not that memorable. Part of that is the dated atmosphere of Divino and the mediocre wine list. I would definitely bring your own bottle and pay the corkage ($20) on it. Having said that the squid I had was a nice fresh version and the lamb pasta was hearty with really well made pasta. Everything was well cooked with solid service. I would go back for a solid Italian meal, but dont expect a fancy/ cutting edge meal.

We have been to Divino since its opening week. They are unassuming, friendly, and the food is almost always perfect. On the few occasions when it is not, a word to the staff makes things aright. Its our favorite place.
