If you are tired of chain restaurant visits and overpriced yelped hot spots... You NEED TO GO TO CIBOS. I had dinner here with my fiance and loved the food so much that I planned my Fathers Big 70th birthday celebration here. They set everything up perfectly in a private area. My family was in awe of the service and quality of the food!!! Its been 3 days since we were at Cibos and my father called me this morning to thank me for the experience... and went on to say that he could eat his dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 3 days. I have a big family and some are not easy to please and i must say that Cibos passed all tests in flying colors!!!! Highly recommend the Steak, Salmon Filet and my fathers favorite Seafood Salad!!! We come into Palo Alto every year for several days and always have dinner here. We sit in the bar and are always well entertained talking with the bartender. The service is great, the food is fantastic and the portions are large enough we always leave with enough leftovers for lunch for a day or two. We discovered the restaurant when we were staying at the hotel next to the restaurant, now we make the drive to Cibola from the Fisher House on the VA medical center campus. Well worth the drive. Try it and you will be hooked on it.

Ive tried almost every seafood entrée and have liked all of them! Seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection, not overcooked even a bit. Sautéed shellfish and prawns is recommended. Sunday breakfast brunch is good, too. Service is friendly and prompt.
