The food here is the rare kind of good that you search high and low for. When you find a diamond in the rough, you shout it from the rooftop and that it what I intend to do! The meatloaf sandwich is my favorite, on nine grain bread. The brussels sprouts with pancetta are literally to die for. Tim the owner walks amongst the tables making genuinely friendly conversation, he is very knowledgeable about food and international travel. This place is a must stop when in the Coachella Valley. Come here without hesitation, you will not be disappointed!

My gf and I were the only two customers and after our experience Im not at all surprised. Burned our potatos and when I asked for new ones the cook told me he would just microwave me some. I asked for eggs over medium on my breakfast sandwich and got over hard, told the cook when he brought the microwaved potatoes and got an annoyed sound from him as he swooped my plate away. So I got a refund, we will not be back

Excellent food and fast service. I was between meetings and wanted a great sandwich and ordered a roast beef on Italian bread. I was served with lettuce, tomato and horseradish sauce. A perfect lunch for under $10. A great value and restaurant find in Palm Desert.

Was there on 10/8/16....Excellent salad lunch! One was fresh grilled peaches & other fig ~ both over really fresh greens with complimentary/appropriate "adds" Side of delicious wild mushroom soup. Highly recommend Bouchee.

Meat loaf sandwich is awesome!!! The 9 grain bread is one of the many reasons I come back. Tim is a great guy I have know him since he was in La Quinta. He knows good food and is very serious about quality.
