Loved this place. Loved the food. People complain about the price, but you get what you pay for, and the food is fantastic. The customer service could be improved a little, as we were not greeted when we came in, nor when we went up to the counter to order. I just got a, "Are you ready?" Dont get me wrong, it was with a smile, but Ive worked many customer oriented, restaurant, and hospitality jobs in which all recommended greeting customers and saying, "Good morning" or "Good afternoon" and maybe a, "Welcome" or "How is your day so far?" I also just found out if youre first time customers, they offer you a free dessert. Had they greeted us, theyd have known whether or not they still do this. Well that was just the beginning of the experience, and the cashier was definitely more friendly and struck up conversation. Now to the juicy stuff, pun intended. The sandwiches were the best! Altogether, we ordered two hangovers, a chicken club, and a trump sandwich. The chicken club was an amazing sandwich which I ordered because it seemed to be one of the healthiest and it didnt disappoint. As soon as I bit into it, I could feel avocado falling out because they skimped on absolutely nothing. Many places will put two small pieces in the front and make it seem like they put a lot. Well I loved this sandwich and it tasted great. Chicken was cooked perfectly, and everything else was fresh. I tried my wifes hangover and immediately regretted my decision to go healthy, as it really was the best bite of a sandwich Ive ever had. Spices and everything worked together in perfect harmony. I loved the trump as well and will definitely going back. My wife loved it, and the others eating with us had nothing but great things to say about the sandwiches. PS, I know the butterfly is supposed to have someone stand in the middle, was just posting for reference. Haha

Could not imagine a sandwich joint in an industrial complex being so gourmet! Loved the enthusiastic greeting, a very warm welcome. Mexican Meatloaf hot sammie & Mexican Marilyn Monroe (chicken salad with Chipotle mayo) both on a chewy, wide & flat jalapeño cheese bagel were more than gourmet! I have a big appetite, but I could only finish half my sandwich, it was so filling. (Two people could easily split any sandwich; very generous portion sizes.) You get a big, crisp pickle slice and a 4 inch free cookie. Kind of spendy ($10-12 for specialty sandwiches) but still a good value for top notch ingredients, surprising flavor combinations and over-generous portion sizes. Huge selection of every bottled soda & chips. Huge selection of fresh baked goodies (pies, cakes, bars, cookies, and more). Busy lunch rush but quick ordering system and received our food fast. Kind of clunky ordering set-up, but it works. Watched soccer game on a huge 10 x 12 screen! Well worth the visit on our road trip from Phoenix, AZ to wine country. Avoid the usual suspect fast food places and drive here! Well stop again on our way home. (EDIT AFTER 2ND VISIT: Even better the 2nd time! Ordered The Trump & Buffalo Soldier. See picture, the Trump was almost too big to wrap your hands around!) (One more edit. OMG The Mac-n-cheese! What kind of magic is that? Yum!)

Are you kidding me? This place is ridiculous! We tried the Trump and the Molina hotness. We also had the potato salad. The peanut butter cup tart. And the amazing guy ringing us up gave us two, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies! For free! Im not a sandwich kind of gal, Id rather have a meal. But I was really blown away by the sandwiches! The Trump came with some spicy chips inside and outside the sandwich. It had, Turkey, Salami, Bacon, Avocado, Pepperjack Cheese, spicy Potato Chips, Chipotlé Sauce and Everything (tomatoes/lettuce/onion) on jalapeño Focaccia bread. They warm the bread a bit. It was so fresh and yummy. Cant rave enough. My Hubby had the Molina Hotness. I thought it was great, but the Trump, trumped that sandwich. The tart was just ok. The crust was too hard for my liking. The potato salad was also just ok. Not enough seasoning. The chocolate chip oatmeal cookie was surprisingly yummy! Im not a huge oatmeal cookie fan. If I had a choice, it would be my last choice. But, Id definitely have those cookies again! Super impressed! I think were going again today! (Just keep in mind, the specialty sandwiches are quite pricey! $11.99 for the Trump. But it is a big ole sandwich).

Just my opinion. I do not trust the veracity of these reviews here nor on yelp and think it is rigged with fake reviews. I too, came here only because of the reviews on here and yelp. I have eaten there twice and had the roast beef and Italian sandwiches, and meatloaf and cookies. They are much better than Subway of course....It is just a sandwich, a good sandwich, and there are a lot of good sandwhiches out there...................................but not that great over any other good sandwhich ........this high a rating compilation is suspicious. And certainly not where they got the highest rating in California on Yelp out of tens of thousands. Look at the ones whom state they " found this place by accident passing thru". It is not only in the back of an industrial park and hidden behind other buildings, it is on a hardly traveled frontage road with a acreage of empty field, it is not even possible to find if you do not know its there, even with no signage. Just my opinion.

Googled a place close to Coachella for a quick bite and stumbled upon TKB Bakery! With over so many different POSITIVe reviews, we knew we had to give this place a go go! Upon stepping inside, all you hear is laughter from the kitchen, and the patrons! I knew i was in for a wondrous treat ! I over heard the checkout counter dude just chatting away with one of the newbies about attending Coachella, and even extending invitations on staying at his place if need be! Wow, talk about hospitable! Aside from that the deli food will def. Fill er up! I was full from just half a sandwhich- granted my half of sandwhich was stuff with Every single vegetables imaginable! I was so full i could barely even drink water! Their personable approach and a FREE dessert really catches everyones attention, including mine- the sandwiches arent cheap but you dont mind giving them the love, its the same love they are throwing back at you! =)

Looking for the best dinning experience of your life?! Look no further! TKB is our familys favorite place! We have been coming to the palm springs area for years and have bounced around to different restaurants, until we found this pot of gold a the end of the rainbow! Last time we were here, we arrived 5 minutes after closing. They saw us outside and invited us in for an awesome family dinner. We talked and got to hear their incredible story. This is the best run food joint and business I know! We literally TKB once if not twice a day when we come down! Family run business that is fun, exciting, and filled with laughter! Enjoy the best sandwiches in country (probably the world) with a great dinning experience! Thank you TKB family!!

Getting hungry and saw a sign for the 4th best restaurant in the nation. Well thats a mighty big statement to make so we decided to stop in. Some young man behind the counter is Mr. smart guy all mouthy and I was tired from driving, just didnt want to hear it. The place kinda looked like an old warehouse so I was not expecting too much. We ordered the Sexy Italian sandwich. When we took our first bite we were in heaven! The most delicious sandwich we have ever had in our lives. Also, the more we watched the young man, he really does have a great sense of humor and loves the customers. They gave us free cookies and muffins too! We will stop by here EVERY time we pass through the Indio area.
