Cant even put into words how impressed I was with this establishment. Greeted immediately when walking in the door. VERY kind gentleman at the counter who gladly explained, very thoroughly, the entire menu and his recommendations. He was a great salesman, whos name I sadly did not catch. After receiving my food after a quite short wait, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food. The gentleman at the counter offered my group some brown gravy that he suggested we use with our fries, a perfect pair. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for something other than a regular pizza or sandwich place. LOVED IT

Never been to New York, but if their Pastrami is like this, I now have another reason to go! Pastrami is excellent. Beef is excellent. Someone else in our party got the Reuben and said it was excellent as well. They also hooked us up with some ice cream for the kids and bread pudding for the adults. Wow, that was tasty as well. The people are very nice and the service is excellent. They served me a cold potato knish and when I brought it to their attention they were very prompt to replace it and very apologetic. They seem to want to serve you and do a good job. Food is excellent, service is top notch as well.

I was hoping this was a 5, but I was pretty disappointed in the portion/size of the Halfer. I think it only took me about 4 bites. Dont get me wrong, the taste is great, both with the meat and the bread - really good. But if youre looking for an average size of a sandwich, Im not so sure youre going to get great value here (Im a first-time customer, btw). I spent 8 bucks and its like I only bought a small appetizer...and Im seriously debating on eating next door at the pizza joint where I think a whole pizza is about the same dollar amount. In the end, great quality, small quantity.

Just wanted to share that I have been to the new Tommy Pastrami in downtown Phoenix a couple of times and have been impressed with their food and service. I love the pastrami so much that I order 1 lb at a time along with a loaf of the rye bread and swiss cheese. Its so great that they sell deli to go because there arent any places downtown that do. Im addicted to their cheesecake too! Yum!!! Next on my list is going to be the Rueben. 2 thumbs up Tommy Pastrami! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a real pastrami sandwich ... NY style of course.

I was craving a corned beef sandwich for awhile now. So I Google up the biggest corned beef sandwich in Arizona and Tommy Pastrami popped up on my screen. So now its time to take a road trip to Downtown phoenix. Coming from Glendale it was WELL WORTH THE TRIP.I had the SKYSCRAPER MIXED WITH CORNED BEEF and PASTRAMI. The FOOD is EXCELLENT and the STAFF is very COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY. I have entered Tommy Pastrami on my SPEED DIAL. .People if you Love corned beef like I do then TOMMY PASTRAMI is the place to go. Thanks for the excellent service.

Ordered from out of town for a Phoenix delivery. Customer service was excellent! Food was delivered right on time as scheduled and received hot. The sandwiches and fries were rated highly delicious and one of the best Reubens ever eaten. Staff was easy and enjoyable to work with. They also went out of their way to make it an exceptional experience. Highly recommend Tommys and will utilize Tommy Pastrami again hands down!

I wanted pastrami but I also kinda wanted a burger too. Pastrami Burger? I asked for it, it wasnt on the menu but they built it. They brought it to me and it was magical. These guys never fail to satisfy. Great staff, awesome food and a nice little location between the light rails on the west side of the BofA building. In and out in 10 minutes for take out during lunch, not easy to do in downtown phx. Thank you so much TP!

I immediately regretted only getting the 1/2 Reuben as soon as I took a bite. Very very good. The recommendation for the full Reuben is to share it with another person so I assumed that half of one would be enough, but I should have either chosen the full sandwich, or they shouldnt tell people that it feeds two people. Pretty pricey, but definitely very good.

Super fast service with delicious food. I didnt think I liked pastrami but really I just hadnt had any good quality pastrami sandwiches. This place is great. And they forgot the cheese on the sandwich but as soon as we told them the fixed them problem and brought the food back out to us. Make sure to try their deli mustard, it compliments the sandwich well.

Was looking for a quick bite and heard about Tommys from other employees. I had to check it for myself and it was well worth the hype from the colleagues. Chili philly steak is amazing and is off the charts along with the chili. Quality matters to Tommy. Recommended to all!!!!

Easily one of the greatest delicatessen eateries located in downtown Phoenix, Tommy Pastrami has great flavor, the corn beef is to die for. You can choose to stack it high or go low. Not to mention their mustard is amazing! Definitely a must try.

Best pastrami Ive had in Arizona! Great people too, sat with a few employees for conversation after finishing the combo. Price isnt as high as some of these reviews would make you believe. Some people cant be satisfied.

Around 9am, not many people but I wasnt looking for breakfast. I had the the pastrami half-er and onion rings combo. Great rings and the strami was shave thin and piled high, seasoned just right and wow the bread.

Stopped in for a pastrami sandwich for lunch. It was greatand the horseradish sauce the old man hace made it better. Kinda pricey but worth it. Buy the bigger sandwich.

I found this place to be overrated. $30 lunch for two. I had a Ruben my wife half a Turkey. We split a onion rings and drink. The food was ok but nothing amazing.
