The Creekside Bakery near Novatos historic downtown has always been my favorite place to eat on the West Coast. I have never been able to find another establishment that is as gourmet and friendly. The service is always impeccable, and I cant emphasize how tasty every single item Ive ever tried has been. Soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries (obviously), quiches: its all superb. They relatively recently revamped the menu- and somehow it got even better! Considering the outstanding quality and care that goes into every item on the menu, Creekside is extremely well-priced as well. Youve just got to check out this Novato treasure!

I went into the bakery today and bought a dozen cookies. Six chocolate chip and six sprinkle cookies. I went to pay and the employee said the cost is $16.00. I said no way a dozen cookies can cost that much. She idiot even respond. Due to the kine of four people behind me I reluctantly paid it. When I got back to the office, the cookies were cold like they had been frozen. I was so angry, I threw them all out. I will NEVER set foot in there again. There are so many "real" bakeries in the area where a dozen cookies run $5.00 a pound.

Yesterday I ordered Streusel for an early morning pick up to celebrate a German friends birthday. The service person was very polite, professional and offered suggestions for my order. My order was ready when I arrived at 8am and I was on my way with 2 fresh baked pastries within a minute. The streusel was delicious!!! And, the birthday boy loved it!! Thank you Creekside, I will definitely be ordering specialty items from you again.

An excellent Lemon Meringue pie is hard to find-----Youll find it here. Also the Princess cake is wonderful with the marzipan frosting. This is a wonderful old fashioned bakery----expect things to be on the high end $$$$ side but well worth it for those special occasions or if you just have spare money and want the BEST !!!

Creekside is an adorable bakery and their food is always amazing. My coworkers and I stop by every morning for coffee, and pastry, and sometimes come back for lunch too! I love their green triangles: they are a luxurious treat for when I am having a rough day and they always cheer me up!

Lovely bakery & cafe. Wouldnt buy their pie again though. Crust is too dense. Everything else is excellent. Would highly recommend their strudel.
