I was brought into Spumante by my cousins who live in L.A. while visiting from Seattle, WA., recently. I have some dietary issues (gluten sensitivity), but we called ahead and I double-checked online for accommodation based on this and my cousins long-standing relationship as a business owner in the community and their high esteem for everything "Spumante." From the greeting, ongoing service and attention to detail plus the standards of the restaurant, I wish Spumante would open another restaurant in my local Seattle community. I was so impressed that when I return with my hubby in the next 6 months, I told my cousins we must go back and introduce him to the experience. We not only have dietary issues, but we are quasi food snobs and both great cooks (my hubby cooked for the Cask and Cleaver and a Parisienne Bakery at one time Mammoth) plus we eat primarily organic, so to satisfy us, thats a very credible recommendation. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great ambience!!

Authentic Italian cuisine with a warm and unassuming but elegant ambiance. The owner is also really nice and will stop by the table and check on how everyone is doing. Favorite dishes so far: pumpkin ravioli and spaghetti bolognese, but have yet to try many of the others. Lots of healthy options too and a good and decently priced wine list. Love this place!

Although the service here is amazing, the food wasnt as flavorful as I expected. I am Italian and have been looking for a great Italian place to eat at. A friend of mine recommended Spumante so we gave it a try. I was expecting a lot more taste to the food. I might go and give it another chance but I know my chicken parm wasnt up to par.

Spumante has been our "go to" restaurant for at least 25 years, from back when it was on Ventura Boulevard. We celebrate holidays, birthdays, graduations - you name the occasion and were at Spumantes celebrating it. And all the evenings in between. Joes sand dabs, Hawaiian shrimp, farfalle con pollo are all our familys staples!

The food, which has always been great, seems to keep getting even better. The service is amongst the most professional and timely. Ive yet to have a dish I didnt think was great. I have to drive a good distance to dine here (and I live in an area full of highly rated restaurants), and its always worth the drive.

The perfect place for pre- or post-theater meals. Friendly, efficient service. Perfectly fresh everything. Reasonable corkage. It does get really busy on Saturday nights. Have spotted more than a few celebs. Try the fresh linguine or the divine Grilyach dessert. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

Best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles! Weve been there twice now. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is great and the owner is always there making sure everything is perfect. The calamari is delicious and the portion is huge. Also, the lobster ravioli and the risotto di mare are our "go tos"

I love coming here. It has a great atmosphere from the nice paintings on the walls to the friendliest owner(Joe) who greets you at the door . Not only do they offer great entrees but most importantly they offer great guest service. All the workers push to make sure you have a great dining experience.

This is an excellent restaurant in Noho that has very good Italian cuisine. We always get the calimari and lasagna. Whatever they use for their marinara sauce is worth coming back again and again. The service is quite good and the prices reasonable. Will definitely come back.

Nice atmosphere and wonderful wine list on wood racks around the restaurant.. The food speaks for itself; all made-from-scratch dishes. The service is absolutely the best. Friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely enthusiastic. Recommended 110%!

Visited Local Foods for the first time after seeing all the positive reviews. Know that the menu is limited to mostly cold items like sandwiches & salads. The only thing that seems to hot are the soups on the menu.

The lasagna was an epiphany. I didnt know pasta could melt in the mouth quite so smoothly and beautifully. My only regret is every other Italian dish Ive had up to this one.
