Let me start off by saying I have been using Google reviews for a long, long time but never really cared to leave a review. Obviously people have bad experiences at restaurants and such but I dont feel the need to bad mouth someones business because anyone can have a bad day. It happens. However, based on my last experience here, this 100 percent had to be done and I had to leave my first review which unfortunately is a negative one at place I really like. First thing that happens when I walk in is I step on a packet of open butter. Well there goes my shoes. Next, we get a waiter that honestly is the one of the rudest and most insincere human beings I have ever met in my entire life. He just throws/slams dishes/drinks on the table. Has to be reminded 2-3 times if we ask for something. He completely ignored my fiances drink request. On my pasta order, there was very little sauce compared to usual so I asked for more on the side. He said there would be extra charge, which is ridiculous but I said its fine. The guy does not bring it out until the end of the meal when there was one piece of pasta left on my plate EVEN when I reminded him repeatedly for the sauce. THEN GET THIS. I said i dont need the sauce anymore because I am already finished with my food. He says I will pack it for you to go as if that is my only option. Then, he has the NERVE to charge me for it. Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!?!?!!? And instead of apologizing like a normal human being, he was super defensive and making excuses. Really?!?!?! As if this wasnt bad enough already, at the end I was automatically charged 18 percent tip because we were a group of 6. I was forced to pay it even though he did not deserve a single penny. I have been a regular at this place for quite some time since the food is honestly amazing. But it is so beyond upsetting to see this kind of disgusting service. You have been warned, expect a careless and rude waiter named David S. to completely ruin your night.

Delicious, high-quality Italian food. Unlimited complementary bread with butter/olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start. Make sure to ask for the garlic spread if they dont bring it out with the bread. Its super tasty! I tried the fettuccini alfredo with mushrooms and it was delicious. The sauce was rich and creamy and the noodles were cooked to perfection. You get really large portions, so its a lot of bang for your buck. Parking is a bit difficult as they dont have a designated parking lot and its located on a busy main street, so if youre coming at peak hours make sure to set aside time to find parking and bring money for street meters.

I have been eating at Fritto Misto since the mid 1990s. It is a family-owned restaurant with locations in Hermosa Beach, CA and Santa Monica, CA. It is my go-to place because of the build your own options. You select your pasta, sauce, and add-ons and presto! A one of a kind pasta meal. My favorite build your own: Spinach linguini Pink sauce (carbonara and garlic cream) Sautéed shrimp Artichokes Chicken Broccoli Price is very reasonable and there is ALWAYS enough to take home.

Thank You for being open on Christmas Eve day. One of my Best friends called and was in Hermosa Beach. We met at Starbucks and figured out we were both Hangry we walked up to Fritto and were blessed to see Gabby and enjoy the Greens and Gorgonzola w/ chicken. So nice to be in Fritto and relax for few before heading back into the Christmas fray. Merry Christmas Robert , Melinda, Jesus, Gabby, Damion and all the rest of the Fritto family

Good spot here and the build your own pasta is nice. Without realizing, theres a few options for Italian food in Hermosa and this one didnt disappoint. Overall the pasta was tasty and fresh, and the sauce was good but more of a thicker style. I didnt leave anything on my plate, especially since the bread was great. An open setting and well lit, it really felt more vibrant than the traditional, cozy Italian joints.

Best BYOB in the area for Italian. Thats a huge draw, but can also be a drawback on the weekends if youre not looking for that crowd. Large groups can be raucous when they bring lots of wine bottles. Personally, I love craft beer and like to bring a nice bottle or two of my own, so its perfect. Good is great, but not spectacular. Service is almost always impeccable.

I have been to Fritto Misto since I was 8, and let me tell you, I have never been displeased. I usually stick with a certain pasta, but once in a while, I try something new and they never fail to impress me. Their Caesar Salad is delicious, and if you want a garlic spread with your bread, just ask the waiter or waitress.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. It is our favorite neighborhood restaurant when were in the mood for good, homemade Italian food. The ambiance is casual romantic - perfect for a laid-back date night. You feel like you are well taken care of at this café transplanted in the heart of the beach cities.

I typically cook for dinner, but this is one of the few places I go for dinner. Everyone I have brought here has been blown away. Food quality, portion size, and price is fantastic. I would say favorite dish so far has been their special: garlic cream hoisen marinated pork Tenderloin.

One of my favorites for about 20 years now - always visit when in LA area. Delicious affordable homemade Italian. Looooong lines on weekends and around 6-7 pm! But worth it! Try the chicken ravioli with garlic cream sauce - and take some home with you! (They sell both...)

Staff very courteous and polite. Get the fried pillows they are great, and dont fill up on the bread the portions are very filling! The pesto wasnt my favorite very authentic though. Enjoyed the atmosphere thoroughly. Great chill spot after hanging at the beach.

The shrimp artichoke gnocchi, and chicken cilantro ravioli are the highlight of the menu (especially for those not craving a red sauce). We cannot stop coming here for these dishes but the fact that it is byob make this place the best Italian choice in Hermosa.

I was there for the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce networking meeting for our beauty salon business. It was my first time there, service was great and the food delicious. Will be coming here again and definitely send and recommend clients.

What a gem! A friend put me on to this place and I took my family and we had a blast. Its smaller and homely, but that adds to the service and ambiance. Food was amazing and we had a great time!

Delicious fresh pasta, interesting sauces, and great value. Very kid friendly, and can get a bit noisy when its full (which is most of the time), but all in all a great place.

Nice neighborhood Italian with giant portions. A great spot for families and inexpensive fine dining. The best of the Italian restaurants on Pier Ave. Super corkage policy.

Great service and the jumbo ravioli was rediculous. The combination of flavors and textures made this dish my instant favorite. Ill be back, and soon!
