9 people-$550 tab-2 hours. I am going to be detailed so prepare! Like my opening? Let the drama begin! Called Friday morning to ask about happy hour due to the amount of people we had! They said 4:30 to 7 at the bar and/or outside. Okay thats great for us! Its California so its nice out. Why not sit out side. Any who, we get placed outside on the happy hour end of the restaurant-apparently the other side was to good. (Ill get to this later) We sit at our happy hour table and its way to uncomfortable for us, for the amount of people we had including two kids. So we asked if they have a bigger table inside that we would still be able to enjoy happy hour. Remind you we for there at 6:20 so we only had 40 minutes of happy hour left. After happy hour would end wed obviously still continue to eat and drink. Happy hour is mostly for drinks and the kids. They give you free bread any ways! Lol So we get placed inside and WOW SHOCKING. Happy hour isnt available per our waitress! Thats freaking ironic. What a plan they has for us! So 2 men dressed in suits (ughhh, wanna be managers)some over and ask if there is a problem. UMMM yes there is! We were told happy hour is still okay over here because its to uncomfortable sitting for our party outside! He said sorry and acted like he couldnt understand our English and said sorry again and walked away. WHAT!! Are you kidding me! Sorry thats all you have! We all looked at each other like WTF!! Any ways! We order our drinks and food! The food took OVER AN HOUR TO ARRIVE! Their plates are small. I ordered a pasta which doesnt take an hour to make and it was a baby size bowl

They serve a delicious assortment of bread before dinner. We started with the Calamari and it was very well flavored and cooked correctly. We also had pizza and pasta. Both were delicious. There was a giant table next to us and strangely it still seemed fairly quiet in the restaurant. Our waiter kept apologizing that we werent getting the best service but we thought it was totally fine. We didnt feel ignored, we got our food relatively quickly, etc. Id go back when Im feeling pasta.

I still love this place - have been visiting every so often and just recently we had a reservation for 20 and it was a blast!!!! the food came out promptly, the wine never stopped pouring... the food as always, hot and delis. Stuffed eggplant is still made the same beautiful way, order pastas and the chef is always happy to make it to your special order - desserts are terrific as well - most importantly - order great wine and come with good company- you wont be disappointed .

Waite staff were very attentive and knowledgeable and the general manager a very hospitable and friendly individual. a great lunch experience. Now I need to come back down to experience the dinner menu. Thanks to my niece A for recommending il Fornaio.

The Garretto Dagnello lamb shank is to die for. So tender it falls off the bone. It was enough to serve three of us and everyone was in heaven. All four courses were magnificent, a real culinary treat. The service was outstanding. Definitely worth repeating over and over again. John Bollinger and company

Sat outside, the weather was perfect. It was quiet enough, sometimes outdoors is too loud. It was comfortable. The food was 4 stars. I had the fish , something Misti. It was excellent, wife Sea Bass special, excellent! Desert was great.

The food was pretty good! The staff was friendly and always there when we needed something. The atmosphere is consistent with the new modern mall look, which lacks elegance and style. Having TV monitors up always cheapens the vibe.

This place has the best Happy Hour in the village IMO! The food is really good and they have lots of drink options. Just understand that if you go outside of Happy Hour, you need to pay attention to the cost group of this place.
