I was very excited about trying this place out because of all the good reviews. I went there for lunch with my husband. The elderly lady who was working the counter treated me with rudeness and contempt. The only thing I could think of was I was not white like all the other ladies there. When it was my turn in line, she went to the other side to ask who was next and all the ladies replied it was me because there was only one line. I was never unfriendly , mean or nasty so I cannot think of any reason she didnt like to serve me or just about any bread I requested she said it was not available even the daily breads on the menu. When asked for recommendations, she didnt really want to give any. When asked to try a bread on their sample menu tray, she gave me a slither of the crust on the Dakota bread. My husband who is white got such friendly service and treatment and he also noticed she was very rude to me. **************Bottom line*******Bread is ok. Nothing SPECIAL!. IF you are not white, I would not recommend you go there because you will be treated like trash. If you are looking for great service and great bread, go to MENOCHINO or CORNER BAKERY or STONE HAUS.Even if the bread was to die for which it is not, I would never go to a bakery that hires people that are so racist.**********************************

I just discovered this wonderful bakery! I needed interesting bread to make tea sandwiches for my daughters bridal shower. I found incredible breads; Conejo Crunch was our favorite. Lupe not only sliced the breads just as I needed, but gave me several hints on how to create the perfect sandwiches.I left the store feeling I had made two new friends, and my home smelled like fresh bread all day. ..and the tea sandwiches were the hit of the party!! Ill be back.

Amazing breads... They have bread I never even knew existed. I love the fact that they dont skimp you with ingredients. If you buy a cheese bread then expect to see huge chunks of cheese when you cut into it. I love mom and pop shops. Ill gladly pay a little more for a great product. Go here.

Great bread, but even better dessert breads and sweets! Generous samples and excellent inexpensive coffee, too. Try the gluten-free bread and brownies-- the best ever! Nice sandwiches and other stuff, too.
