Got here 9:15pm and asked if they were still open; hadnt seen any hours. Guy grumbled a little and then sat us. Later found they were open until 9:30, not closed. Ordered lamb kabob and eggplant dish, both with rice and vegetables. Kabob said it was skewered with peppers and onions, so I asked for no onions, and was told it didnt come with any; they were just in the marinade. Misleading menu. Both arrived... without any rice. We were informed they had run out of rice and we were being given salad instead. Do I eat salad? No. Was I asked if salad instead was OK when I ordered? No. Was I looking for a bunch of vegetables without rice? No. Did he even apologize? No, he sounded offended that I was upset, and asked if I wanted a different dish... as if a different dish would be better without rice. Were we full when we finished? No. Was our food good? Except for the salad (mediocre, according to my husband who ate it - just lettuce and carrots), food was good. Meat and veggies were tender, flavorful, and grilled well. Eggplant dish was alright. Tried to order baklava, but it was out too. At least he told us.

Weekday lunch special, Mediterranean pasta with salmon, was excellent. Another reviewer raves about the tomato dipping oil for the abundant bread, and I liked it too, but its difficult to get the tomato on the bread, so you might try a spoon. This restaurant seems still trying to offer something for everyone, but I think they would do better if they focused on a smaller menu of just northeast Mediterranean dishes that theyve perfected. They clearly have the skills to be much better than a 3.4. Service was attentive but not pushy. Its a great location and the outdoor seating is comfortable and pleasant on a spring afternoon.

The food is lacking a bit in the flavor category. I was expecting a little more punch from the food and was disappointed in that area. I cannot remember the name of what I had, but it was eggplant filled with ground beef, onion, and tomato. The best part of the meal was the warm pita bread and dip you get at the beginning of the meal. I wasnt so disappointed that I wont go back, but I will definitely get something different next time. Otherwise the outdoor area was quite nice and the service was good.

This is our "go to" restaurant. It is close, not too loud, can fit four in a booth or as many as we like at a table. The food is wonderful and they are very good with substitutions and menu accomodations. The Rib-eye is amazing. Favorite dishes include: lamb shank, kebobs, Donor salad, vegetarian plate, dorado or trout whole, and pretty much anything on the menu. The octobut salad is octopus. I didnt like it, but others did. Their dipping sauce is very tasty. Bathroom is okay.

The business is run by some outdated people with no respect for customers. The online menu says something and what youll get is completely garbage. They lie about what youd expect. We ordered combo kebab which according to their online menu was supposed to have Adena, chicken and lamb. The box which we were charged for was a mess with 6 pieces of meat and some rice for ~18$!! They are dishonest and rude. Never go there or order online from this place.

One cant have great expectations when trying to have an Iskender Kebab outside of Turkey, but the one I had here could easily win a slot in the worst 3 meals of my life. Cant say anything good for the Sigara Boregi I had as an appetizer, which roughly tasted like potato wrapped in an A4 sheet dipped in a litre of motor oil. Try a burger king or a chinese restaurant if you want a closer approximation of Turkish cuisine.

We found this place by chance with some friends and we thought wed give it a try. What a pleasant surprise it was! We had amazing food, the service was great, and it was not at all expensive; I tried one of the kebabs but will go back to try the rest for sure. One of my friends had the lentils soup and didnt like it at all. One other dish for my next visit is the Manti. See you soon!

A bit disappointing overall. Food was good, not great. Same for the service. The only vegetarian mains are all eggplant based, which is fine for me, but its not a vegetarians paradise. Most disappointing of all, the baklava was not very good. I mean, if thats the name of the restaurant, they should take pride in their baklava. It was just not crunchy and flaky enough.

Not a bad place. Just walked in there not expecting much. Food was good for the price. Lamb was tender and the bread was great with hummus. Only thing I didnt really like was the side the waiter suggested which just ended up being likereally tiny burgers that were overcooked. Sauce the side came with was great though.

I have been eating pita breads for quite long but never had pita bread so fresh and hot as we got here. Rice tasted really nice with grilled veggies, which were cooked to perfection served with falafel which wasnt too oily. + Authentic ambience. Local persian food. - Parking could be a big of a hassle

In the middle of Silicon Valley, this Turkish restaurant is a hidden gem. When you first enter, you probably will be welcomed with a Fenerbahçe (Turkish Soccer Club) flag and then be lead to your table by smiling and friendly staff. Food is tasty and also their restrooms one of the cleanest Ive seen around.

Pretty poor. The good things were the taste of the meat kebabs, except the chicken which just tasted weird and the imported Efes beer. However, the rice stank of plastic and was inedible, the bread was cheap and tasteless, the service was below par (they were busy though). The salads were ok.

Turkish/Greek menu, which is just as likely to impress as it is to disappoint. Had a simple gyro that was excellent, but also tried a kabob and roasted veggies that was dry and flavorless. The service tries hard, but the food quality is inconsistent overall.

Неплохой турецкий ресторан. Наверное одно из немногих мест в долине где можно поесть хачапури по аджарски.

Great food and crappy service. Prepare to be forgotten a couple of times, passed by with look when youre trying to attract your servers attention and have the check brought to you while youre still chewing.

The kalamari was rubbery and mostly inedible, but the waiter was gracious when I pointed it out. Service was excellent if the food was only "good". I give it 4 starts because the service was impeccable.

The best Turkish food in Bay Area, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Regional Black Sea pide (Turkish pizza) was the best Ive got outside Turkey. This is our will go place with 5 stars...
