The atmosphere was so classy, so its a wonderful date spot if you want to go somewhere nice. If you do go with a date, try to get there 2 hours before they close. We went at 6 on a Sunday evening (They close at 8 on Sundays), and hardly any one else was there. Service was therefore quick and very friendly. I would suggest getting their Groupon if you can, as it can be quite pricey, especially their sea food. My boyfriend and I got the fried calamari for an appetizer (my favorite), and it was excellent. As was the bread. A hint of salt in a fluffy bread with a wonderful, slightly crunchy crust. My boyfriend described their clam Fettechini as delicious, and the presentation was beautiful (you will have to pick the meat out of the open clams, though. I went with a more basic pasta marinara with sausage. I think the sausage was a little over done, but it was otherwise perfect. I would definitely recommend it as a classy date spot or a nice family spot.

Was the worst experience ever. We get to the restaurant it looks nice and classy, we get seated only to find out their air conditioning was broken. We literally felt like we were roasting in a brick oven the whole time. We order water just for the server to bring it out in styrofoam cups and say they dont have anymore clean ones. They also ran out of pink moscato so we didnt get that either. The service was slow and also the food was not that great. My veal was soaked in what I thought was going to be an amazing wine sauce but instead had so much vinegar you couldnt get any other taste. The only good thing was my wine. But it was so hot I didnt drink much of it . I recommend save your money and go somewhere else so not worth their prices.

Im going to give this place 3 stars. I thought the prices were pretty high considering the type of food that they served the food was nothing spectacular someone said that there were big portions but they werent it was a small bowl the waitresses didnt bring enough bread for the amount of people we had at our table they brought one bowl of bread and there was 13 of us there. The Waitresses also failed to offer refills on drinks we consistently had to ask him in though they would come in to do this or that just not really impressed by the place I dont think Ill be back

Where to start? Order crab cakes, where soggy, probably previously frozen. Ordered shrimp scampi, was way too sour or acidic. The pizza was not good, the chicken Marcella was OK but not great. Liked the clam showder but would suggest a litlle less sodium. As for service, waitter was very nice but failed to check up on us, had to ask for refills. Booth was too small, felt clustered. Chicken strips where decent. I had high hopes for this place since the rating was a 24. Not sure if I should go back again.

If I could, I would give no star!!! You can always tell if a restaurants food is good by how many cars are parked in their parking lot - there were only four. Most of the patrons were at the bar - cant go wrong with alochol! Anyhow, The red sauce with my pasta tasted as if the chef doused it with a cup of vinegar and all the seafood in the pasta was small...Winco has fozen mixed seafood bigger than that. Google Italian restaurants in Modesto and youll find other places.

First time eating here ..on a dinner date with my wify Pera..i ordered spicy chicken on angel hair an i could not eat my dinner. It had too much Wine...the calamari was good.Also had small cup clam chowder.It was sweet..my wife had the linguini with all sea food..n it looked like soup.it had roo much butter n wine!-- We had to send it back..!!

Always good. The bar is always hoppin but is in an entirely different area from the dining room. Nice to either watch the game, or enjoy a quiet romantic dinner. Great pricing on the food for what you get. The place has an "old world" feel. Its a definite standby!

Great chicken marsala!!! Butterquash ravioli. ..was out of this world. ..I could taste a hint of nutmeg..blue cheese was delicious and a different taste all together. Diana was our waitress and very considerate of our needs.

This place sucked service was poor. Waiter had a hearing problem and charged for the wrong meal, and you shouldnt bother taking your food home. Cooked with to much butter and food leaves a bad after taste...

My husbands food tasted like it was made with canned chicken. CANNED CHICKEN not even frozen chicken! Pretty much everyone was in the bar. Guess thats where the good part is.
