The food is fantastic. The bread was fantastic the appetizers were fantastic. But the service was horrible. We had arrived at 4:45 and didnt get served our main courses until 5:50. We waited for way too long, and we were not given an update on our food. Horrible. It would not have been a big deal if we were given some updates or just a random excuse as to why we were waiting so long. People who arrived after us were given their dishes right away. The only good part of my experience was the food.

A year ago I have a rave review of this restaurant. They made an attempt to accommodate our Gluten free meal needs. Three months ago I aim came in and found out they had reduced their gluten free accommodation. Today I came in again and was again disappointed to find that they were unable to accommodate a gluten free meal at all. As a side note the waiter would not even check with the cook regarding specific menu questions. One suggestion. Get a dinner salad.

Ive been in Modesto for just over a year now. Ive been in search of a real Italian place where I can get Calzone. Been to Strings Cafe, at least they make calzones, but nothing like a true handmade one from Bella Italia. This is truly a hidden gem that most locals have no idea about. The prices are right and the food is great! Find it before your friends do because sooner or later youll be hearing about it.

Overall the staff was friendly and food was tasty. I got a chicken parmigiana that came together with veggies and pasta (basic Barilla), the chicken parmigiana itself was good, but the pasta and veggies that came with it were very cheap and not very authentic, paid $15+ for my plate and wasnt very happy with the choice. Although my plate wasnt what I expected, the mushroom and cheese ravioli were delicious.

I cant say enough good things about this little piece of heaven. Every single dish Ive had there in 10 or so visits has been consistently great. Phenomenal ambiance, feels like a little piece of Italy tucked away in a crappy little shopping center! Try the minestrone soup! I also recommend the pasta primavera with basil cream sauce! GREAT service too.

This is my husbands favorite restaurant in Modesto! It is consistently delicious each and every time we go. The service is excellent. The waiters are attentive, helpful, and seem happy to assist you with food and wine selections. They also are very happy to adjust a selection to meet any dietary restrictions. We have never had a bad experience

Had a great meal today, thanks! I have one small comment: Had the Tortellini bolognese, it it made with fresh unpeeled tomatoes that werent very tasty, kind of acidic. I suggest a canned tomato filet, like 74/40 or Filetto di Pomodoro. You can use the drained filets in the bolognese, and take the drained juice and put it in the marinara.

Very memorable!!!! My fiance and I went here for our anniversary and it was a excellent choice we made. Alberto the waiter was very helpful even recommended a plate to try and it was delicious. My fiance couldnt stop eating the bread they gave us lol its definitely a place we are coming back to again.

World travelers here. Well over 20 Countries under our belt and we enjoy trying food in each of them. Been to Italy a few times. This is the closest thing to authentic Italian food that you will have unless you are in Italy yourself. Wonderful food and it doesnt get any better than this stateside.

Bella Italia is one of the best Italian places in town. You can tell they really care about making good fresh food, and they have a good wine selection to go with it. Ive always found their service great, and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend you come and give this place a try.

Dewz is our favorite place to go for good appetizers and craft drinks. The oysters on half shell and the lobster bisque are to die for. The bar offers a large selection of scotch and list of hand crafted drinks. This is a fine dining experience with great service from start to finish.

On our way to Los Alamitos, and we stopped at this joint of in and out. My Son and daughter had milkshakes. My daughter got a strawberry milkshake, and she said " The milkshake was super creamy and delicious". Anyway, love the fries and all the other food.

They have the greatest food, nice atmosphere, and really nice waiters. I love the Prawns Ala Santa Margarita and the Chicken Marsala. I think the best time to go is during the week or an early dinner on the weekend other wise its pretty crowded.

If you have never been to in & out you are missing some good food. Their fries are fresh cut not frozen and their hamburgers are pretty close to tasting like home made delicious. Give this resturant a try you will be glad you did.

Horrible ambiance. Hot, no air circulation, screaming baby for 1 hour. LOUD. Good food and great server, but will NEVER COME BACK. Management did NOTHING about crying baby and rude mom. Ive been in more relaxing surgeries.

One of the top 3 restaurants in town in terms of food quality. Must try the mushroom appetizer and the Penne Al Filet. Both are amazing and when you add the fresh bread and spread its VERY hard to beat this place!
