Well all I can say is that maybe those of you with a good report on this tomaine infested roach hole, is that it must have been better back on 07 and 08 because here is an update on 2010. I was there last night, the windows were so filthy it was our first clue. we got seated at the grill, it too was very dirty, and when the gal went to clean it , I am not sure if it was the dirty towel she was using but the grill emitted an odor of what I can best describe as a combination of wet dog and stale fish combined, literally made me sick. Then the best is yet to come, my daughter and I ordered sushi before our meal. I had a simple california roll and she had a spicy tuna roll, BOTH WERE STINKY , STALE AND ROTTEN. Unfortunately we each ate one piece and are deathly ill from it today. I called the waitress and told her the fish in the sushi wasnt good and we couldnt eat it. The sushi chef who is also the manager, turned to me and yelled in front of other patrons, IF YOU DONT LIKE SUSHI NEXT TIME DONT ORDER IT, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST ORDER STUFF AND DONT LIKE IT AND SEND IT BACK. I told him he was very rude and we belong to the local chamber and also own several businesss in Manteca and that is not a proper way to treat a customer. My husband is diabetic, and I said no teriyaki on the meat or fish but the other soy and garlic butter is fine. He squirted teriyaki on all the shrimp and then gave our shrimp to someone at the table that didnt even order shrimp and picked out the few pieces that didnt have teriyaki and gave it to us, I said are you going to put some soy or seasoning on our meat and fish? He slammed a bottle of soy in front of me and yelled WANT SOY THERE IT IS!!! YOU SAID NO SAUCE, I corrected him and said, I said no sweet teriyaki the rest is fine, he then told me to do it myself. My daughter then went to the restroom, (at this point we couldnt even eat the meal) and she proceeded to take pictures of the filthy restroom and alerted the rest of the family wait till we get back to our own place to use the restroom, as it was a petri dish in the making back there. I have some pictures and I will try to insert what the bathroom looks like in this filthy place. The health department will be paying them a visit and I am warning you all to please approach with caution if you go near that place you are likely to get sick , as we did, and you are guaranteed to be treated rudely and unprofessional. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!!

Food is fantastic and prices are decent. We came here for lunch on a Thursday and service was fast and friendly. I had chicken teriyaki with garlic fried rice and veggies and it was so delicious. That rice is ON POINT and the veggies are fresh and cooked to perfect perfection. Also a plus was the variety in the mix broccoli, carrots, zucchini, onion, so good. My boyfriend had sushi and he said it was delicious and at good price. We sat at the bar and were able to watch her make the sushi. We are so full and satisfied. We eat at a lot of places because we have a carpet cleaning business and are on the road throughout stockton, manteca, modesto, Sacramento 5 to 6 days a week and this definitely is going to be one of our go-tos in manteca now. Highly recommended!

One of the best restaurants here In town. They treat u like king or queen for there food. Ive ate there a few times already I dont no problems there no cockroaches or any bugs in the food not unless ur the bug problem itself at the restaurant. I love the staff there. :D its a very good family restaurant for the kids graduations honeymoon dinners etc.

Tempura doughy, not crispy at all. 2 people, 1 teriyaki dinner served 30 minutes after ordering. We are the only people in the restaurant and no attention or explanation. We are arrived at 5pm......I believe that is WAY to early! Chicken teriyaki dinner was OK. When informed about the tempura, we were compd for it.

Very good tempan grill style food with fresh vegetables and good steak meat. they can do better with salad entree dressing, it was an onion tasting dressing they should of went with a ginger dressing. all and all fun tasty meal and average pricing ;)

we have been going to this place for almost 20 years. food has always been outstanding!! love to have the same chefs year after year. we always take people here if theyve never been. keep it up looking forward to the next 20 years!

I travel a lot and eat sushi in many places. This place is OK, and the price was good. I liked it and would go back there. If you want great sushi you will need to spend more money and travel out of Manteca

I likewise give yukimi two thumbs up. I love that place, the food is awesome, the chiefs are always nice to talk to. I take any of my friends there and they love it. Truely a great place.

The food was decent, but they refused to serve me rice without vegetables. (For $25 a plate thats not a huge request) also, the yum yum sauce has no flavor. I wouldnt go back again.

Best teppanyaki in Manteca, but Yukimi is just a "pretty good" restaurant. Some of the chefs are spot on but many of them overcook steak
