If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Thought about leaving when the water tasted like chemicals. Then the egg flour soup tasted like chicken noodle and dish water. They brought out the appetizer: egg rolls and fried wontons. Egg roll was good, wontons tasted like something from a Mexican restaurant. So confusing. Main dishes, I got sweet and sour chicken. Was okay, lots of sauce and the meat was very sketchy. Didnt eat much and stomach felt horrible afterwards. Also! No music playing when we were there. Our waiter did his best. I give him props since he didnt make the food. But didnt check on us at all and we had to wait a long time to pay once we were finished. Will never go back there.

This restaurant is family owned and operated. The food is fresh (I see the delivery trucks several times a week there.) I love one of their specials, Spicy Garlic Chicken w/ Eggplant, which is about $9. When I order the chicken dishes they serve white meat that is free of fat at gristle. If you like American-Chinese food, like sweet and sour dishes, you should like this restaurant. If you want more traditional dishes, they have that as well (except for certain fish or duck dishes). There food is consistently good and when they have it, I love their hot and sour soup.

Danny, the owner of China Taste sure knows how to whip up some good food. His brown sauce is flavorful and I prefer it to the other local Chinese Food competition. I do not eat meat so I can not comment on that aspect of the business, however Dannys preparation of Bean Curd (Tofu) is good, veggies are crisp and fresh, and the chow mein (my personal favorite) is very tasty. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall looking restaurant you may not expect to be real good based on the outside appearance, but definitely worth going and checking out.

One of the best Chinese restaraunts Ive ever been to. Small and nothing fancy. But they do not put any MSG in their food ( almost all restaraunts do. My girlfriend is allergic to gluten so this allows her to eat there. And they are more than happy to take extra care of her food when we tell them this. And the prices are very reasonable for a good amount of food. Hope we can keep them in business

My problem is that they wont do half orders. If you want fair priced Chinese food go to wonderful Chinese in Pleasant Valley CA. They are fair on there prices and will work with you!
