A few things as a person coming from the SF bay area... High cost of living area... My worst Pho experience ever! Dont EAT HERE, I wonder why the restaurant was EMPTY, learn the hard way. From start to finish: 1. No booster chair or high chair for kids - so if you have kids, DONT GO THERE! 2. She told me, since I have kids, upgrade to large for 2.00. I said, that is fine... The bowl came to me that looks like an extra small. Coming from a guy that eats pho almost everyday in the Bay Area! 3. Cost: OVER PRICED for a simple bowl of pho - 2 bowls of pho + 2 tap water = $ 26.00 4. Gave me my food, no basil, beansprout, pepper, etc... the normal stuff you get. When I asked for it, shes like "o.k., I get it." Im like, dont it comes with it!! NO TIP for this garbage!! Take it from me, I eat out at Pho restaurants daily! I can name 30 restaurants in San Jose thats always packed with a line out the door and Stockton got some garbage vietnamese restaurants here... bad customer service. Just fyi to the owner, Pho is similar to fast food!! People want to come in and out... Go eat at Pho Kim Long on Capitol Ave. or Dal lat Cafe on William street, you will learn a lot! DONT GO THERE!! WASTE OF MONEY and TIME!

Ive been going here since I was very young. Every time I go in, Van is very pleasant and remembers my family and I. She has made things off the menu for me, as well as made sure that we were taken care of. The spring rolls are to die for, as well as the beef rolled onions. My favorite is the #18. You get a very healthy serving with all of the foods and you will not leave hungry. She always makes sure to tell us if she has anything special, but still makes sure that our food is delicious and fresh. Granted, theres not usually many people in there, but that just means better service for us. Even when the place has been packed, she still makes sure that all of the tables are taken care of. Working in food service, I know how difficult this can be; especially because its usually only her working. Ive recommended Saigon countless times, and everyone that has gone simply raves about it.

My brother who knows nothing about pho chose this spot. He assumed miracle mile has the best, wrong! Im a phó veteran for over 17 years. The Bay to sac and every single pho spot in town....Saigon is thee absolute worst Vietnamese in all of Stockton! Even The pho spot at the house across from stagg hs is ten times 1000 times better. Its like phó broth out of a can and under cooked noodles in a child sized bowl with 3 pieces of meat for 9$. If you know what pho dac biet is you will never get it at Saigon. Its means the special pho w brisket, flank, tripe, tendon, round eye steak and most important of all of phó is the broth that needs to simmer over night w beef bones and sachet of herbs. If you want the best pho spots in town go to lucky phó, hoa viet phó bac, and Saigon bay

DO NOT GO IF U HAVE PEANUT ALLERGIES!!! My son said to the waitress Please No Peanuts.. only because he doesnt like peanuts but when she saw him eat the sauce she hurried over because she forgot he didnt want peanuts! She knew she messed up. Anyway while the flavors and tastes of the food were awesome you still cannot pass off FROZEN Panko Shrimp as Tempura Shrimp. I also had a pork dish that consisted of 6 pieces of thin pork that looked like it was cut with sissors. The restaurant was nice and clean. Overall my 1st visit is the last.. it wasnt worth the $68+ bill.

I love the food I get here. I usually get the crispy tofu. I also love the the spring rolls. They are probably the best rolls I have had. My wife will get some sort of chicken dish that is spicy. What I really enjoy besides the food is Van. She is the main reason I keep going back. She is very personable and remembers what your favorite dish is. I have been going there for about 7 years now. The reviewer below obviously had expectations on what he wanted. I know what I like and what is provided there at the restaurant. So far I have been very happy.

I never felt so at home like in at Saigon. Van and her husband run a very family oriented restaurant where they pay special attention to your likes and dislikes. It is some of the best Vietnamese food Ive had. I came here on a business trip last month and now that I am back again on business I had to go back to visit. I loved : Vegetable spring rolls Crispy tofu Lemongrass chicken on skewer Oh and the hot sauce is great too!

Stopped going here a year ago. The food was good, but service was not. Our server was displeased with me for not finishing my noodles and told me I waste food, and not to lie to her about wanting a to-go bag if I wasnt going to eat it anyhow. The restaurant was empty ps.

This is the only Vietnamese place I found in Stockton with vegetable broth for the noddle soup. I appreciate the service though there is only one person working.
