Ive lived right by the Purple Onion Cafe for months and didnt know it existed! I thought it was a sandwich shop, but as it turns out, its much more than that. They have breakfast, sandwiches, salads, novel and tasty pastries, and good coffee. The doughnut muffin first caught my eye, and the lemon bar won my taste buds over. The people behind the counter were lovely and warm. Ive found my new favorite café. Skip Starbucks today and try this place out instead!

Delicious sandwiches and salads. Sometimes they have GF bread, which is great for me because on those rare occasions I get to enjoy one of their sandwiches. They are a bit pricey but its an expensive area so I get it. Inside seating is a bit cold, metal chairs never seem to make me feel welcomed. Outside seating is mostly shaded and you get a nice view of the parking lot. Great place to grab lunch and take back to the office.

A nice place, but a very limited menu. Prices are very Los Gatos for what you get. OK, its pretty good food. And it is technically in Los Gatos, (border of Campbell), but sometimes I go in. look at the days offering, and, if I see something Im interested in spending $12-15 for, Ill check it out. Otherwise, theres a good well rounded cafe 50 yards away.

A very casual cafe atmosphere with both indoor and patio dining. Small place with not much seating. The busiest time on weekdays seems to be from about 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, hardest to get a table during this time. Good salad entrees, sandwiches, fresh bakery and breakfast items. Pay at the counter, then your food is delivered to your table.

The food and coffee was amazing! This is our new favorite spot for coffee and breakfast. My husband had the Lox plate and really enjoyed it. It is very expensove though. A basic breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon was $9. Service was friendly and fast, the place was clean, and sitting outside was lovely as it was quiet.
