Food: 4 Decor: 4 Service: 4 Came here to pick up some chocolates since I havent been back in a while. Opted for a box of 12 and a box of 4 ($25 total), which had Gianduja, Deep Dark, Mocha, and White Chocolate Raspberry. Upon arriving back home and opening the box, I was confused since it looked like there were 6 Gianduja chocolates instead of 3 Gianduja and 3 Mocha. There were also 2 picture slips of Mocha instead of Gianduja and Mocha. Upon calling back, I was told that the Mocha was indeed there. The outside was indistinguishable to the Gianduja, but that was because the regular Mocha exterior wasnt available. Would have been nice to be given that information when ordering. Chocolates were as delicious as before, and the boxes were pretty.

I disagree with Hamattan, you cant find a place like this anywhere close by. The chocolates and dessert items are top notch, and the menu includes many healthy options you just arent going to find in many places. The paninis are always a favourite, as well as the baked goat cheese salad and delicious quinoa salad. (The quiche needs less butter or oil). Try the "drinking chocolate" sometime, it will make you swoon. Atmosphere is cozy and clean. They also offer fixed menu dinners and live jazz music some nights. A suggestion for the staff: how about a roasted veggie panini ?!

I have bought the handmade chocolates from here a number of times as gifts or just to enjoy one or two pieces on my own. They also have a nice, simple cafe menu and I have had lunch here a couple of times and enjoyed a glass of wine and coffee. There is a good selection of wines by the glass and free Wi-Fi makes this a pleasant place to hang out for a while. Other treats of non chocolate variety also exist and are quite good. Most recently, I enjoyed a panini with salad and glass of wine while waiting for my car to be worked on across the street.

Wow. Delicious chocolates! I was given a box of their chocolates for Christmas and I loved *every* bite! I love dark chocolate and these did not disappoint. What surprised me is how much I loved the chocolates I usually pass up! I could taste flecks of fresh Meyer lemon in the Meyer Lemon chocolate; the Tahitian Vanilla Bean has a deep, creamy vanilla center that makes me want to let it melt on my tongue and savor it as long as possible. I could go on, but I encourage you to get a hold of their chocolates and experience it for yourself! :)

Like the stars glistening in the sky so do the flavors bounce on your palate. From this Master chefs creations, I would compare Dolce Bella to a Art gallery or a secret Winery. What imagery do I take for myself ? Chocolate or carrot &coconut cake. As I sipped a glass Zenato Pinot Grigio and munched on Terragon Chicken for lunch, I took the muffins in a Holiday Bliss and ran off with all 3. What a delicious place. Master piece food. And the chocolate is something that I bet you never test before. Do not miss it. Bravo!!!

Not sure what the fuss is about this cafe. We ordered a croissant, a hot chocolate and a cappuccino. The croissant was a standard American style tasteless croissant that you could get in any supermarket. The cappuccino was strong - too strong - and lacked any flavor. The hot chocolate was the worst we ever had. Certainly not the best and far from it. All in all - this cafe is a total disappointment. There are so many other options. Go there instead.

One of the best kept secrets in West San Jose. This gem of a place has it all! Great food, beverages, baked goods, wine, chocolates and ambiance! They periodically have live musicians on certain weekend nights. I conduct all of my small meetings here! The staff is amazing as is the owner and her husband! Give it a try! It is a favorite hangout of many locals!

Cute little cafe nestled in the plaza near Orchard Supply. My sister and I spotted this after Bikram Yoga and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the Baked Goat Cheese Salad and the Bacon Avocado Breakfast Panini! They have a nice selection of chocolate if you have a sweet tooth.

Reminds me of the cafes from my hometown, San Francisco. And the breakfast, chocolate cake, freshly made pasta, salads, wines, friendly service...perhaps people should stay away. As its my and others secret place to enjoy an awesome cup of coffee and more. Love this place.

I love going here for Moms Night Out with friends. Its cozy and friendly and a lovely place to sip "drinking chocolate" shots until last call at 10pm. Just stepping inside lets me leave my cares at the door to enter a sacred space. --Beth

This place has an excellent breakfast! I love their home made granola with fruits and yogurt. My husband likes panini or scramble eggs. Also try their biscotti. Yummy!! We go their at least twice a week. Coffee is very good too.
